Lets talk sodium hydroxide! I'm not much of a person who reads the ingredients so thats why I come to y'all! So lets talk about these ingredients in this product.

Sodium hydroxide is used as a pH adjuster and a gel activating agent with the ingredient CARBOMER. Carbomer has to be activated to form a gel so a pH adjuster like sodium hydroxide is typically used. It is not something to worry about, its better than using TEA or EDTA

Janae Mason I’m either threaded and a head wrap, or faux locs. In my head, I said I’d start wearing my hair out, but it’s a LOT of work lol Braid outs don’t fluff enough, and wash and gos scare me lol but your hair is ALWAYS bomb, so I’m going for it lol

Exactly some people can wash and go so easily, and im just how? My hair dont play with me like that. I recently started trying it. And even with this gel i get a curly fro. So thats how i usually wear it. I guess it’s because I have very stubborn and coarse hair that shrinks a lot. But I love my fros anyways.

the new one has more elongation and has a slightly thinner consistency with a slightly different hold. it hold my edges *DOWN* and it's definitely not as crunchy my hair be so soft. I like to mix both now n the definition goes crazy but still the soft feel and I gt lots of body n movement so I was excited

Natasha Hamilton I’ve had my locs for 8 years! It takes a lot of patience. It took me about a week. I used a spray bottle with water, a rat tail comb (metal tail) and I used conditioner to soften up the hair. I’d take some out in the morning, go to work, and take some out at night. I had about 120 locs. You can do it!

Darling I think you need to try a small jar b4 finishing your old wetline to see if it can mix with your hair products. I bought the new wetline at publix for a $1.09. It was a smaller version and I tested it. Apparently it works well with 98% of my hair products. I tried it on my hair and it had great hold.

@@miurtouissi1093 she looks to have 4a/b/c. Most of us usually do and then there are other factors some 4b's for example have silky curls while others (like myself) have fluffy. Porosity is also another difference smh, curls can be complicated.

I'm fine to but find that wash and goes make my hair look fuller. Try Olaplex 3 to strengthen your fine strands. If you can, go to a salon to do step 1 and 2. If not just use step 3 and it will strengthen your strands by reconnecting the bonds. It is NOT a protein treatment to make it clear. Shout out to my fine hair ladies!

Xtreme gel works wonders for my natural hair. I used to Eco styling gel…I deep condition my hair, I add my oil and curling cream and apply the gel. I spray my hair with water, section and apply gel. It’s my new favorite gel . ❤

Just wondering how do you cover your hair when your sleeping? Does it look flat, to where you have to do your hair all over again the next day? I’m asking Bc I’m 4 months post big chop. And I kid you not, I was about to buy a perm tomorrow Bc idk how to style it. So I figured I’d watch a RU-vid video to change my mind. And I’m glad I did. Now I’m back on board with natural hair. 👍🏽 I forgot how important it is to be patient. Your hair is beautiful.

I wish someone would have answered you... I’ve been natural for a few years and normally wear wigs😁 I’m trying to start wearing my natural hair but I’m clueless about maintenance... I did a really pretty twist out but it looked crazy the next morning🤦🏽‍♀️

Miss954 i section my hair into fours and put them in mini ponytails and in the morning put oil on my hand while fluffing out with a pick sometimes i have to spray a little water

@@APTTMHYforever wash and condition hair..while wet put leavein then curl activator..last add gel on top...if hair dries spritz with water..needs to be wet to form curls with gel...make sure your products dont have any protein in them or you can get.protein overload overtime.

@@AngelaChristineK nah sis try spraying it with ALOT of water than shaking your head ! A little bit will only frizz it up I’m telling u I know it sounds backwards but trust me ! Spraying a lot of water will be like u had did your wash ago again for the first time I love it .. game changer !
