Exactly. It reminded me of grammar school in the 90s when all the girls and women with really short hair was rocking the wet look and I couldn't. But this on my mid-length hair with my little scarf is totally beach-ready!

Wet hair looks look best when wearing a cute tenure noir and golden jewelry with a simple make up and a cat eye. I also wore it in a completely white dress (also with lots of golden jewelry) but wore no heavy makeup, just focused on my brows and mascara and I mainly used tones that were similar to my skin tone and one shade of red/orange/pink around my eyes and lips. Also, I liked a glossy lip here😍 The first look is a cute look for when you want to go out(make it a heavier makeup if you want but then keep the hoops off, I personally don't like it when there is too much going on on my face so I decide if I want to put on more Makeup for a get-dressed look or if I focus on putting something cleaner where I can use more jewelry) The second look is nice for a daytime date? On a day where you are outside near nature and it's sunny🤷🏽♀️☀️ like when you are in the city with some friends or so
Her hair is not 4c, looks mostly 4a. 4c is defined by z zigzag curl pattern or no visible curly shaped loops. Just meantioning this in case you wonder why your 4c hair can't do this. But good job.

It’s cute, especially with the headband. But I wouldn’t slick it back on top so much unless you were gonna keep the clips in while it dried. Otherwise, I would only slick the front down to the top of the head.
I used to do this back in the late 90’s early 2000’s, when all us natural girls had to work with was gel, a good stiff brush, and PLENTY of doo-rags and scarfs💯💯

Your hair came out gorgeous as usual. Unfortunately, all type 4 hair is so extremely different. Sometimes it is discouraging because those that say they are type 4 only need product to show the curl emphasis and not much manipulation to get a "look". Most of you that have done the wet look already have curl definition that can be seen PRIOR to adding any product. True 4C cannot do this look. Especially not for a full day look after it dries.
Fantastic this,.. This,.. THIS IS going to GROW your hair like CRAZY. Because of all the mouisture in the hair. Rock the wet look style every day for 3 months and see how much your will have grown. It reminds me of the Gerry Curl back in the day. Because of all the gel and moisture put on the hair every day. Peeps hair was growing like the rain forest. FAST and Strong. I’ve seen so many people do this style and yes it looks amazing on everyone (especially you cuz you’re my FAVE♥️😍)but it just doesn’t compare to the volume I’m used to seeing

Curl curl curl! This style literally only works when I have clip ins. By the time my natural hair dried, it looked like a wash and go. Roots be on swwwwooooooollllllllleeeeee lol

First off, I watch videos all the time and I have never saw anyone with type 4 cotton hair like myself. I really thought I was the only one with hair like this.
