I just watched your video where you’re wearing Noriko in a dark brown and I commented that I didn’t think it looked good against your skin. This is your best wig ever! You look stunning and this is such a soft style and I guess that’s what I was trying to get across. The soft color and the soft movement and some lenses look fabulous on you! I really hope I didn’t hurt your feelings with my last comment because that was not my intention. This is perfection on you!

Looks lovely on you, but good luck keeping this one in wearable condition. Drew was my very first choice when I started wearing wigs five years ago. She’s gorgeous for the first couple of weeks of daily wear, but that mid-length style means that the ends of those HD fibres are constantly rubbing against your shoulders and shirt collars which will turn that lower layer into a clumpy, frizzy, straw-like mess within a month or two. I would recommend either saving this one as a special occasion wig, or try sewing a human hair weft along the bottom to help protect those fragile HD fibres. It’s such a shame that wig companies haven’t worked out how to make longer lasting HD hair because it is so natural looking, less shiny than regular synthetic, and so luxuriously soft and silky right out of the box.

Jes this definitely is a fear of mine. I won’t be wearing this one daily, but at least once a week most likely. I did purchase a steamer...hoping it’ll come in handy when I start seeing friction damage. I’ll keep everyone posted!

A little tip if you want extra lift on the crown area, make a high ponytail or bun with you natural hair instead of the low one, works every time for me 😊. This one looks great.

Drew is absolutely stunning. Looks so damn REAL. I am afraid of that fiber, and please do keep us posted to see how it wears....I don't understand the term "clumping" as they say, like what it really looks like when it does this ...? And how you fix it. I surely cannot afford to get a wig that lasts only a month or two. But Jill, this one is perfect on you....

If I may give my two bits, HD fibre is very fragile, especially mid-length styles like Drew that are constantly rubbing against your shoulders. The fibre beacons very stiff, fizzy, and straw-like within a relatively short period of time. Clumping is when the stiff fibres start sticking together in little bunches that no longer move and flow like natural hair. I have owned many Drews over the years and none of them have lasted longer than a couple of months of daily wear. You can try wetting the ends, spritzing with a little thermal spray and running a fine tooth comb through them while blow-drying on a low setting which helps to straighten and separate the hairs, but it will just frizz up again within a few days. You can also sew a human hair weft along the nape and trim to match the style which will help protect the fibre. My advice, however, is to save these longer HD styles as special occasion wigs and stick to regular synthetic as your daily work horse wigs. Hope that helps.

Finally, I can watch your wonderful videos again. This wig is truly gorgeous and this lace front seems to be one of his best. I see so many styles that I really love, but they are in the basic cap and I find those to be a little hot. Is that my imagination ? How much do I love your wig and topper videos? OMG.....they are fantastic. I have not bought a wig topper yet, but I want one so badly, just so hard to halfway match my red hair. I am losing most of the hair in the top front and I am a full bang lover all my life and now I feel like I have a comb-over except it comes from way back from my crown. I've been wearing JR wigs for 3 years now. Looking to buy this one but have always worn above the shoulder in HD. Hope she will last. Oh, and I'm sure you know...They make wig grips with a lace part now. No glue needed and it doesn't show! Thanks for your review. Looks beautiful on you.

Love Malibu blonde..love the layers in this one, and much more natural..I use Helen of Troy hot air curling brush on my HD fibers all the time to give them a lift .I love the HD eadiparts by JR, I have 3, and they have lasted a long time...This wig is one of the best I have seen and will never order anything that is not HD..i like the color of the shaded root on this one..not too dark..Excellent choice!

I love the color palm springs blonde on you! It just does something to your eyes! Kristin looks great on you and Drew is amazing! Drew is my next purchase when I have that amount of money. I love the way it frames your face and it’s not too heavy around the bottom and it’s very youthful looking but I think older women like myself, Of 56 and up can wear this and be confident. I do have a couple long wigs and I do wear them and I don’t care.

Drew looks perfect. I don't know why I hadn't considered it. Perhaps because at over 4 ounces, I felt it was going to be heavy. But, I just got some pricey human hair wigs and they are far heavier than Drew. Very persuasive review, Jill! 😊

Stacy Haviland well, I just put them on and pretty much take them off. 😉 I don’t mess with them at all when I have a good idea that I don’t like them. Plus I want to show you all pieces that I like and feel have potential ...rather than ones I am not liking at all. I purchase my wigs with my own money, and need to make sure I can return them. 😉

Jil , I thought about Jackson the very moment you said " do you know what this reminds me of " and of course you said "Jackson" , But , yes ! These two pieces are very interchangeable looking . You look just stunning by the way … I can see why you feel confident in this wig even while it is a little longer … I feel as though the sleek profile along with the face framing layers make Drew one of the longer wigs that women who are 40 and above can tastefully pull off . Are you still fond of this one now that you have owned it for a little while ?

Just saw this video as I have been out of town...ITS BEAUTIFUL DREW!!! lol LOOKS GREAT! lets chat about how to calm the HD fibers that tend to frizz ( my issue with HD fibers) I did purchase Jackson too but this really does look more natural in the amount of hair around your face. ALSO ordered the lip glosses petal, nude, and bellini. They are such a treat , Keep up the good work!

Ms. Jill I am eyeing a Drew. I wear the Belletress HD blondes. I do have 1 JR Malibu Blonde. But it’s darker than this video appears. It’s completely synthetic tho. I know the HD fibers can look differently along with the other fibers. This color looks more golden/ yellow toned or warmer on here . And it’s what I’m wanting. I actually thought it looked like the Laguna Blonde. I want a JR that is close to my Belletress Honey with Chai latte... Do you have any suggestions? Thank you so much 😊 💕.

Very nice! Is this an adhesive? Will not the wig be damaged? How to remove the wig? It sticks firmly to the skin. And do you need to wash them after each use?

Do you have any recommendations of something that is similar to this butin regular synthetic with a lace front and mono top? Why would you get a wig that doesn’t last? I need to wear a wig for the first time, and I want to be able to wear it often... I wore mono fiber hair extensions for years. Whenever it got kind of frizzy looking, I would soak the ends in liquid fabric softener. I purchased a wig on amazon, and it is ridiculously full, and one brush made it grew, and was messy. So sad

Good morning Jill this is the first time I’ve ever made any kind of comment on anybody’s RU-vid video but I do want to tell you that first of all the wood looks absolutely beautiful on you and thank you so much for sharing. I wanted to ask a question of you if I could I know this has nothing to do with your RU-vid video on this wig however I just did get my state board license as an aesthetician and I was wondering if you could give me some advice on products and where to start. This looks like Rachel Welch upstage which is prettier I think. I don’t like Jon reneau wigs so much for several reasons. The shine and the lack of normal movement are problems. I also don’t like the dark lace fronts at all. Their rooted colors look too red at the roots too. Not natural IMO. You look great though.

kk doc also wanted to mention... the HD fibers definitely have a very natural look to them (regarding shine) and look like natural, healthy hair. The regular synthetic fibers in just about all brands (to me) are indeed too shiny, and need dry shampoo.
