I like my old Work Sharp, but if I ever feel I need to upgrade, this really has so many great features. I really feel like they are paying attention to what people have been asking for. I want to support that!

I have the original Precision Adjust Sharpener and have been very happy with it. This version is a bit expensive but I’m seriously thinking about it. I like the new features.
It's definitely a jump up there and price, but you do get a lot of really cool stuff with it. This would be one of those good birthday at Christmas gifts to ask for lol
I like doing my sharpening freehand I have been doing it this way for 20 years better to stay the way I know but great review you could be on shark tank if you had your own product 😊

A universal stone holder, and a way to compensate for thicker/thinner stones being added to said holder, without having to change the angle - would be fantastic. A little more weight in the base couldn't hurt. All-in-all, It's a home run! I love it! The clamp makes it easy to go downstairs, pop in a knife and clean it up. Thank you!
I'm curious how long this one has been in R&D. I've heard of other placed doing something like what you said. That would be a fantastic customer service gesture.
For sure. I'm totally impressed with it. It's everything you need to handle tiny, to chonkers. I love it and can't wait to sharpen another knife with it!
I got the Precision Adjust for Christmas and it's great. Was saving up for the 'elite' kit for it. Of course, if i quit buying more knives, I'd have it already. Will probably still get the elite kit, and then get the PPA. Then I need a new bench just for sharpening. Heh.
Heck yeah! I'm all about getting a new bench! Heck, I would love a small pole barn for tinkering and having plenty of bench space for all of my gadgets and projects! 😅

I have the original and I’ve loved it but I can see this one definitely being better if nothing else just being able to do more sizes of knives but I really like it gonna be on the list of things to get! Thanks for sharing bud!
Nice sharpener! I have the precision elite. They have adressed the concerns of the elite. I just bought a bunch of replacement stones for the elite. Replacement stones were not baf at $7.50 a stone. Wish they would have had this back when I bought the originzl! Stsy Sharp!
I actually own this system and love it, the only issue i have is no case for a 300 dollhairs system but not all of us have a dedicated work area to mount it. I have taken it to friends houses to hook their blades up. They even had the same reaction, "What no case?"
I use the Spyderco super portable, self contained, no assembly and works Great. The only additional accessory I purchased was the Ultra Fine stone's for sharpening razors 5 years ago.

I have the elite version and love it. This is definitely an upgrade to work for and perhaps pass on the original versions to the grown kiddos or grand kiddos. Nice concept for this upgrade.
Nice review Beez! It always makes me laugh when people that will spend several hundred bucks on a knife without blinking twice turn around and say "$300 for a sharpening kit? That's waaay too expensive", lol!

First they said to buy their belt sharpener. Then they said to buy the Ken onion bc it fixes all the problems with the other one. Not long after they said to really get it right you should buy the belt grinder attachment so the Ken onion will work better. All of a sudden you don't need any of that stuff, you need our Precision Adjust sharpener. This really is the one. But it wasn't so you spent mire money on 3d printed parts to fix all the flaws. Worksharp to the rescue with the Elite Precision Adjust Sharpener. This is really really the one you need. It upgrades the one that was the one and now this is the one. Then they gave your maxed out credit card a break for a minute so you could forget everything else they told you for years and buy the PRO PRECISION ADJUST SHARPENER. We swear. This really really is the very last one. Just 300 more of your hard earned dollars. Put the last 1290.00 of stuff we sold you on ebay and give us 300 more.
Kind of makes you wonder. Are they improving as they go? Or is it the grand plan. I think trade-in's for credit on newer models would be an awesome proposition.

I didn't even know he was into sharpening.🤔 He bought it to sharpen all his chef knives. I heard him on a phone call sharpening and asked him what was that noise because I recognized the sound. He said I'm sharpening then told me with what. Well surprise surprise!!!😊 He isn't even into EDC knives. I'm just got him a kizer latte vind mini boba Fett model and I'm ordering a boba fett helmet lanyard bead and making him a gift to send to him for his birthday. If they simply would have made it with Edgepro stone mount it would have been a excellent system for the money. Sadly they went the Proprietary route on the stone holder and that killed it to any sharpeners that have invested in stones for another system.

Tell me about it. This system comes with everything. Bring able to sharpen smaller knives it's a major plus, too. The angle finder is so good, and makes it easy to remember what angle you sharpened what knife.

Definitely an improvement over their first product, but, but, but $300 is too much... I think $200 would be more in line with the previous target customer. Cheers!!
It's always a little hard when they come out with something better than the one you have but I want companies to improve their products let evolution happen they will probably someday come out with a better one than this bravo for them
Problem I have with fixed angle sharpeners is, you need a big enough, square spine to clamp to. It’s difficult to clamp solidly and keep the blade perpendicular otherwise.

Really disappointed by how weak it holds knives in the v-block clamp. The support may hold the clamp stable, but the clamp absolutely doesn’t keep the blade from wobbling.

Yup. I went to get one pretty late today forgot about the 10am thing and the website was working it said In Stock add to cart and then got the servers failed screen.
The quality of materials goes to TSPROF, but the range of knives you can sharpen with this one is pretty impressive. The stones that came with the Work Sharp are more aggressive, and I like that. The stones with the Blitz are good, but have lost some of their bite, and I would consider them a higher grit now. Not a bad thing, but I like diamond stones coming rough.

It might have improvements, but does it have 5 TIMES THE PRICE INCREASE of improvements over the old unit???? Not so sure 'bout dat. I think that Work Sharp saw how much money they were losing to third-party folks who were coming up with all kinds of 3d-printed gadgets, stone holders, etc., and thought "WTH"??? WE should be getting all that scrilla! Anyway, I know that I'm sounding like a hater, but really I love the original WS Precision Adjust (even with its shortcomings). The new unit is definitely nice, but it will take a lot of convincing for me to upgrade (since I"ve already spent several dollars on "upgrades" to my old unit. This will definitely attract new buyers, and will capture the market for some original users. What is a fair price? Well, the market is supposed to determine all that, but I'm guessing no more than $175-200... BTW, great job on the video, and keep up the good work!
Yikes! "Special Edition made for Beez Blades"? Am I the only one to have noticed that enblazened on the side of your sharpener? I"m pretty sure you have no connection to the WS company, but having a "Special Edition" made especially for you doesn't exactly help the argument against review bias🤔 I always considered the original WSPA to be sort of a Beta model, with WS depending on thousands of customers to figure out what all the shortcomings of the original unit to be, and only THEN would they consider actually spending the time and effort to make improvements, meanwhile collecting much revenue from consumers who were eventually gonna find out that they had pretty-much wasted their dollars and if they wanted to get something that was engineered the right way from the beginning, they would have to spend EVEN MORE of their hard-earned money... I hate that business model (as used extensively by Intel, Apple, and other tech companies). WS can't claim ignorance, because they are a long-established company, specializing in, of all things, KNIVE SHARPENING! It would be hard to convince me that they didn't know exactly what they were doing when they released the initial model. It only took about 2 weeks for people to start expressing views on how to "fix" or "improve" the original sharpener, and they put their ideas to work by making their own fixes and selling them immediately. And WS couldn't make that happen, with all the engineers on their payroll???? Yup, something was amiss. At least they are attempting to get things right, but it's not much consolation to the thousands of people who helped finance the upgrades. To be fair, it is a vicious dog-eat-dog market out there, and companies are sometimes forced to get products out there for sale, knowing full-well that "a 70% complete product is better than no product, especially if the competition is about to beat them to the game". Being the first kid on the block to have the fancy new toy is usually all it takes to grab enough market share to keep the competitive edge.
