Bruh. I hit level 60 with like.. 500 gear score and got wrecked by you like 4x near a ton of dryads. You were switching between bb/ice and bb/fire if I recall. The grind continues, but well played sir -manbun mcbeezy
love this series you have going on! I'm a off-meta player so its nice to see someone giving some light to (what can/could be considered) off-meta builds.
@@neylz06 Fire/BB has more sustain, but Ice/BB has a lot more burst, both good, for example against muskets and archers i need to use fire, but against melees i like the Ice/BB better
This build is really only “popular” in wars but med or heavy on point. I either use this build heavy 250 int 250 con with grenade perk on BB or most of the time I do heavy VG IG 300 con for point support and if you master it and get good gear for it (which is not as expensive as other builds because when someone see’s int in a heavy piece of gear they think no one will want it). But you can get into almost every war with this set up once people know what you run. For the IG BB heavy / med build its also not that expensive. All you need is 2 weapon perks you put on weapon, unending thaw being the other perk but if you can work it into your gear it’s better and either get entomb on IG or deadly frost and full 2 perk resilient, shirk fort for gear
@@captaincooool Xaryu quit tho I think part of the reason was the nerfs to IG but really it needed a nerf, being able to heavy attack freeze over and over in shower is too OP and I forget the other nerfs from awhile ago but not a big deal.
Really you don’t like malachite over opal for IG? when your stamina is full you get another 10% increase to crit damage so that will not stack with opal. And IG is all about burst damage. I prefer the malachite but if there is some sort of testing I don’t know about - I’m willing to reconsider.
Yes sir, and can u believe that the original band that wrote the song hit me with a copyright, can't even enjoy the good ol time before a greedy artist hit you with a "that's mine"
@@TorikuToriku Haha who would have expected it... I mean it's a shame, but at least you had the opportunity to write with them. Anyway, I enjoyed the video with a touch of nostalgia from the good old MMORPG days. Great build and is definitely fun. Keep it up!
I only play str con heavy build but it seems to be useless in pvp right now, but might try this build. Running Light seems to be OP right now, Everyone has unli rolls.
It might get better for you in the next patch. They changed the running recovery time based on armor weight on the PTR. To be more clear: For heavy it will take 0.5s after being hit to run at full speed again, for medium 1s and for light 1.5s. This will also affect the dodge. So light users will have a slower/less far dodge roll for 1.5s after being hit.
@@jlaw1901 why would you need focus unless you want slightly more healing off Orb of Decay? Void will benefit more from INT unless you are going off healer/DPS for dungeons. If I were you I'd just go 300 INT/200 CON, make sure you have Nullifying Oblivion and Putrifying Scream. As for armor choice this comes down to your preference between light for dmg or medium for cc.
@@zacharyjackson1829 I have a crazy plan that might fail but I want to see if it’s possible. I want to make off heals for small scale pvp. Abilities would depend on how many people are with me. Solo and 2 man, I want to try scream, viod blade, with essence rupture, and then void caller. So the focus would be on leaching heals basically to allow us to stay offensive. If more people I’d swap out void blade for orb and possibly essence rupture for oblivion. So I’m thinking that a small dose of focus could be useful. It would be at the cost of damage but with a team, i don’t know if that matters as much.
@@jlaw1901 essence is a terrible choice given it's reliance on constant DPS and the last passive on its tree is dependent on you being closer than 4m to the target to get the extra healing. In a game mode where players are constantly disengaging and using healing pots this is a given. Essence is almost entirely a PvE only skill. Keep in mind this build doesn't have extra mobility so you can't catch up to people other than using scream and net No problem with going void blade but make sure you go medium armor instead of light and don't get pop it unless necessary considering a majority of your DPS will be bursts from Scream leading into blunderbuss The only viable heals in Arena is Life Staff and Rapier. Trust me I've tried
I disagree, I think giving players the ability to create builds like these is what this game is all about, If not we would have a bunch of boring builds left clicking each other for 1 min. And it takes class understanding and skill to perform and make these builds work, otherwise everyone will be using "cheesy" builds.
this isn't even a cheesy 1 shot build. it looks good on the dummy, but watching his gameplay at the end shows its harder to actually apply in actual combat, and alot of things didn't go his way, but at the same time, the gauntlets gave him survivability against multiple attackers, AND provided an opening, that is key. way easier said than done.
@@Neon-Lines have you not seen what great axe can do with maelstrom, whirlwind, and reap? have you not seen what Rapier can do? what Hatchet can do? hell even what Void Blade can do?
yeah totally broken, imagine being punished for mindlessly dodge-rolling and charging straight in without baiting these abilities first.... but in all seriousness even the light builds that are "countered" by this build can just maintain distance and out DPS this build all day long. as long as you aren't stupid you can play against this just fine
