3 JERRYCANS IN 24 SECONDS, WOOOSH! See now doesn't that make up for all those times you had to go searching through 10 wrecks for 3 cans? Lol I can't believe you pulled off this time with this seed, I can never play this one well. I don't think the bed is saving you all that much, I had been trying to do that in a few trial runs since my last one, but usually just don't get enough leather to make one and my tools, then again I'm not on a tanker starting island. I think you would have saved more time making those leather and the extras into refined spears tbh. Oh agoork, you know I'll beat this time... you KNOW it!

Hi . Congrats on ur new record . I have a question . I always get poisoned and things get hard . After I saw ur video I tried not to step on poison star fish but I forgot their positions . So I throw some spears at them to mark them and worked great !!! . What do u do for my problem ?
I sometimes mark them with a spear, but usually I just try to remember where they are and avoid them. If I get poisoned, just craft an antidote and take it. I usually have lots of food and water, so there is no major rush to get rid of the poisoning. Poisoning is really only a big problem if you also have other issues to worry about, like bleeding, sunstroke, diarrhea or no food or water.

You might think ive been busting my ass to beat this time... but I haven't even made a single attempt yet. My horseshoe isnt burning hot yet so it's not time...lol kinda nervous about how many attempts this is gonna take 😥
An update, after 18 hours of rolling seeds totaln and over 30 "perfect" looking or very close seeds. I've still yet to find a better one than this or the other one i used simply because of potatoes. Every... freakin... one either requires me to deviate from 3 islands or simply doesnt have 8 potatoes withing any of the surrounding islands. I found one thats absolutely perfect, everything you need all in a ring around the starter... 8 potatoes even on the 3 islands... but 2 of them are completely unobtainable due to being stuck inside terrain rocks that I can't even glitch into. Seems my horseshoe has been lost lol
The video is great man! but the fact there is a speed glitch just completely ruins the point of speedrunning a game properly in my opinion, still crazy to see someone so good and well organised in this game. All the best👍.
@@joejoesun Indeed I can, I just think Going for a world record and then using a game breaking glitch that isnt well known or meant to be in the game is unethical. But yea you're right.
@@reviewguru5457 No glitches are "meant" to be in the game. A glitch is a glitch is a glitch. That's kind of the whole point of a glitch permitted speed run - exploiting any errors in the game code to complete the game as fast as possible. Obviously, this is going to be much faster than playing the game as it was intended, but that is again why there are multiple categories of speed runs. If you don't like it or don't think it is fair, that's fine, but as I said, it is a separate category, so I don't see it as a problem.
