Bro. I remember my first couple of days being the roughest. I didn't build a raft yet and had no concept of how to scare the sharks away. My little safety raft kept getting flipped by sharks as I paddled to new islands desperate for more supplies. I got really efficient at recovering myself but there were some moments where I ended up on top of my flipped raft and had to get it upright before I could proceed. It was the worst feeling ever lol. Needless to say my next move was building a better boat!
Same had my life raft flipped 8 times by a shark rowing to another island, jumped on top when I got flipped and climbed back in when it flipped me back and rowed like crazy
My biggest fear is the ocean and no game bothers me but this one. I literally panic looking into the deep ocean but working on that fear by playing this with a friend
Thank you for this, I’m terrified of sharks and I thought I could make myself face these fears (even though I’m a grown ass man of thirty and an army vet) but man does sailing and hearing the shark theme freak me out. Hopefully I can use these tips to gradually work myself to play the game the way i want to eventually play it! Thanks again!
I just found out a while ago you could turn off the tutorial. "Stop trying to get me to waste two precious rocks on a dumb hammer I'll never use because I found 5 of em already!" I tried passive and realized pretty quickly... no more meat and leather from sharks. You hit them once... goodbye!
Set the wildlife to passive or removed and nothing in the deep water will hurt you (except the bosses, but you have to specifically seek them out to engage them, so easy to avoid those guys).
Passive good but last time I dived down to a wreck I was face to face with a white shark I think.yer I anxious about sharks still n never got to that wreck either..still turned n swam back to shore as fast as I could..im on a console n we have passive but still get that anxiety n that when faced with a shark..have snake phobia n try sayin its jus a game but I still avoid them.enjoy the game n couldnt wait til I built a raft cos I feel alot safer on that goin to an island than that safety raft..seem to have issue with seagulls on ps4 though when ur raft is out the water..seagulls seem to glitch in ur raft either turning it upside down n this so awkward to try get it back the right way up, or it ends up in the ocean.I tend to put back of raft over water to drop anchor to prevent these nuisance gulls from glitchin in my raft on land til it ends back in the ocean.fun game even though im in passive but still dont like sharks or snakes n theres no option on the ps4 to remove them..gives me a challenge though I guess.. you wouldnt of thought a phobia would still make u sweat when on a game...
I tried my best, and I know the game is called stranded DEEP, but i just cant play it anymore because of the abyss right beside any beach in the game. I mean, 15 to 20 meters then a gigantesque abyss starts. I dont really care for sharks and all, and i know that my life is not in danger irl, but i cant play games like this
I have Thought of an Idea To make your game more Harder. You can build a house (not underocean) in the middle of the ocean. I know it will be hard to make foundation.. From the island to the mid of the ocean later clean that path, What you think?
