especially since we have a way to reduce incoming and outgoing healing on crits, on abilities, like there are ways to counter healers but nobody wants to build it but want to cry about healers @@sbfelixsb
@intrus012 decreased survivability. You only get benefits when your shield is out. You typically have your lifestaff out trying to get your cds down especially against another team or healer with burdening smite on their flail. Flail is only out maybe 25% of the time and your shield is doing nothing for you otherwise
@@GenDrake3 I see your point, but also my reply was made with the assumption of being support not full healer (my mistake). I play Med Flail/LS as a support role so for me the shield is a must.
@intrus012 at the expense of even less healing. You're almost invincible in your heals in light with the right set up. Except when you have the unfortunate circumstance of getting a dex rat on your team. Barrage is good for catching running opponents then you trip and smite them. You're still support in light but considerably more healing for your team
@@GenDrake3 I’ll take your word for it and give it a shot! I wanted to see if that 30% healing buff from light will really mage a diff. Right now with medium I’m doing decent heals I think.
Not playing this game for 1,5 year. All this time they didnt find it weird no one is going for last (dead) talent in right healer tree. I guess im gonna wait for this change a bit longer.
i would highly suggest looking into just how good a healer is using the flail, the top score and speed runs on my server (lilith) almost all of them the healer was using the flail. warding bludgeon is a huge buff for you and your allies. almost all pve m3 flail builds use both arcane vortex and warding bludgeon. the other skill is personal preference
People are reluctant to switch, while the flail is just dominating in score runs. Recommending Elemental Aversion over Enchanted Ward is also a big OOF. Lilith #1
@@Juan-Lilith elemental aversion is good in certain cases. But yeah overall I would rather have enchanted ward. ALSO baggins, try 200 str and atleast 300 focus. Depending on the enemy type I run 50 int and rest into con for huge damage with flail. My eruption crits for 12k+ between both hits
@@snap26neo I could see eruption being the better choice for smaller pulls, I've only ran flail on expeditions with large pulls involved and I find arcane smite as a better option. Enchanted Ward, imo, is the choice in 9 out of 10 scenarios for mutations.
@@Juan-Lilith ive played around with both smite and eruption. and dabbed a little into trip. i love arcane smite because.. well.. smite lol. however, eruption can connect with multiple targets as long as they are in close proximity, and it doesnt make you move. also 2 stacks of impairment vs 1 XD
ankh is positive in self heal due to the divine perk. It leads to a 25 % reduction in outgoing healing but 35 % increase in incomming, therefore being positive, as a healer i wouldnt recommend using ankh tho as you are supossed to heal your grp , not yourself. . That should be the same without reducing your healing. On a side note these builds seem to be pve builds and are not pvp viable for healers, only for semi healers that also wanna play dd.
We all know about attribute food... the type of food you choose depends on what stats you want and gear you have. Versus the cost of the food. I'm not paying 30 gold for one tier 5 food. 8 extra points isn't worth it for me. And what do I buy? Con, Int, foc, str, must be nice to be rich. I'll stick with whatever 40 food fit my kits depending on if in solo, or in dg or pvp. This guy said multiple times he doesn't want a long video. Why can't you just say thank you
@@AussieEngineer not anymore, unfortunately. Some people argue that keen beacon on staff is better but that's also NOT the case. keen beacon DOES constantly refresh when it's on the armor though, so it's better suited there.
