Awesome Jeep! Considering all the garbage bolted onto it and the abysmal wiring job, it's in incredible shape. Modded rigs like these with no rust and the 4.0L running smooth are becoming harder to find these days.
I'm telling you man you're not wrong. I went to look at it for the axles and once I saw there was no rust that was about it. I thought the guy went crazy with his credit card on Smittybilts website which he kind of did, but the Rock Jock suspension and low mileage made it too good deal to pass up.
@@ninja63639 Yeah, all of that should clean up nicely. And if you decide to keep the bumpers, which really aren't terrible, any local powder coating place could easily redo them for a couple hundred bucks. The only real travesty here is the bedliner on the grille.

Yep that's exactly what it is. The guy told me it was a Rough Country lift and it was pouring down when I looked at it so I couldn't get under it. He lived on a dirt road so it was filthy when I brought it home. It was a nice surprise when I washed all the mud away and saw RockJock on the springs and realized it was Currie arms. Part of the money I talked him down on the price was to replace the rough country springs with curry Springs so it worked out perfectly. I will say I'm not a huge fan of how the Johnny joints perform on the road. The Jeep kind of sways into turns
@@ninja63639I have the same arms and they don’t sway during turns, you may need to rebuild them. I would also look at your sway bar bushings front and rear. Also the rear track bar bushing can wallow out. A lot of little things to look into…
@ryansremark6983 it almost feels like when I turn it takes a sec and then sort of dumps me into it. While I was under it one day I checked all the arms and they're super tight. It has JKS swaybar disconnects on it and I'm not sure if the angle of the swaybar has any effect on it but it is curved up at the same angle as the frame if that makes sense
@ninja63639 I have a pair of new G2 D44 30 spline chromoly axle assemblies with 4.88 and Detroit Truetracs front and rear in my garage. Need the SYE, rear driveshaft, rear disc brakes, adjustable control arms, etc... plus fresh paint, metal cloak arched fenders and new seats. Basically it will be a new jeep when I am done.
