This was one of the greatest shows of all time!! Never will be another like it!! Imagine being alive and old enough to see new episodes of Married With Children and Roseanne at the same time !! 💜
I agree. And I used to think it was funny because of how over the top it is, but there are actually families out there who operate very much like this.
I was alive then. Sigh. anyway, yeah we used to make a point to be home to watch it or sometimes we'd tape it but we made sure not to miss it. Every new episode you watched to see what new first they were gonna do next.

I grew up on this show. They dont make them like they used to. Now its all "reality" shows and so called comedy shows. They wouldn't make this today thinking it would offend people. We desperately need to go back.
It was sad when they ended this show abruptly. I thought their last episode was kind of a joke. Turns out that they weren't told there was their last season. It had been nicer had they got appropriate finale out of like the scene that.
Peggy, my parents and common sense is the reason why I'm single and have no children. My older brother is married and has 7 kids and I'm glad that I don't have his life.
Peggy wasn't the same Peggy every year,the best two examples:a job,and also,preparing food for the family,l love Kelly with platinum hair,and young,and stacked.

It’s funny to see how they changed their character from 1st to 2nd season and afterwards and became the character we’ve known them for. I wouldn’t have watched it if they kept play the character as the do in 1st season.. Especially Peggy - she changed tremendous.
Hi - not a simple question to answer ... but i think because... I like her humor, her affection toward Al & the kids , her interactions with Marcy ,Steve ,Jefferson, all the neighbors, The No-Mam club , and her always positive thinking about the bumps in her life. What else more you can ask from a woman ???🙄🙄🙄
Actually, it was the Bundys that corrupted the Rhodes. Marcy and Steve started off as a healthy young couple, and got increasingly dysfunctional as the Bundys rubbed off on them.
Peggy should rather work as a cosmetician. She would be happier and she could afford more a housemaid. She doesn't seem happy as a housewife. Yes, I know, she claims that she doesn't like to work all the time but if she accepted a job that suits her, she would be more around people. The only friends she's got are the neighbours.
