Honestly, she is naturally what reality show participants try so hard and struggle to be. Real Housewives especially. But Tiffany was the Reality Star OG and still is. She's just organically funny and a go-getter. She manages to be harsh but likeable, which is next to impossible to be. Her energy is just effortless and unmatched.
I hate how people tried to really say she was ugly. She's actually really pretty... The brown and darker girls are always hit harder by societies raggedy shallow standards. She was an icon!

She was quiet and wouldn’t talk to anyone in the beginning. If the girls tried to initiate any convo or anything with her she’d tell them to leave her alone or try to ignore them but they kept pushing it and she ended up fighting them. Why those girls took it personally is beyond me.

I had the privilege to watch this as it aired. Had to wait week after week and not leave the TV unless there’s a commercial because Nee York was quick and I didn’t wanna miss anything. Pure entertainment.
At first, I thought that she held back because she couldn’t fight, but I think she was afraid she’d get kicked off the show. Now fights are commonplace on such shows, but less common in earlier days. And she was clearly using her time in the limelight and didn’t want to risk it.
Not only is she so iconic, but she’s such a great person too. Here in Portland she has made several club appearances at the gay bars (I think that was her main source of income in the early-mid 2010s, club appearances) and she was so sweet and so fun and just all around so great to work with
@@nootnewt9323 yes! Back then you could hire her to come to your club night and MC your drag show or whatever and she’d always sign any autographs anyone wanted and take all the photos with people. Really generous with her time
she was way too brilliant for this show. At those times, reality TV was not yet ready for this woman and the level of entertainment she was willing to give us
I absolutely hated New York growing up watching Flavor of Love, but as an adult this woman was so powerful when it came to making these other women tremble. I wish i had the power New York held.😭

I watched Flavor of Love as it aired week by week as a 8/9 year old (lmao I know) and was OBSESSED with New York/Tiffany she’s the whole reason I watched it lmao. A true icon im so glad all these years later she’s appreciated as the queen she is, I’d literally rather meet her than most other celebrities lmao
The shocking part is she REALLY was into Flav! They appeared on another reality show a couple years ago and "hooked up". But couldn't let the cameras see it because he's married now.

Nah maturing is realizing it was all staged for tv. NY was just a really good actress. It was well known Flav already had someone during all the shows filmed, he told the girls he was only looking for friends and production was the one making the choices on who to keep.
