Thank you so much. i have an international Degree and your video helped me to check my eligibility and other requirements. Finally i am eligible to sit for the exams. keep the good work.
Thanks for the video, I have a question about the education requirements to sit for the cpa. Do I need a different tax accounting course than the one I completed abroad?
Asalaam Alaikum. I just arrived in Arizona / USA from South Africa, I am a Professional Accountant in practice, I have 15 years of work experience as public accountant, Auditor and General Tax Practitioner South Africa. I would like to Convert my South African qualifications to a US CPA. I watched and followed almost all your videos in this regard and I subscribed to your RU-vid channel it is very beneficial and educative indeed. Ala'a you are a life saver Jazakallah, Keep up
Hello, I passed all parts under Alaska state with 120 credits. Can I transfer to NY state, until I complete remaining 30 credits as NY has 5 years period after passing the last exam.
Hi Ala'a!I trust you are well. I'm planning to take my exam as non-us citizen, However,I found that one of the requirements is to Participate in International Examination Program, what does it mean? Thanks in advance. And sorry for the silly question 😅
Also you mentioned in your cheat sheet that we should ensure that if I opt to take the exam at International Testing Center, how do I know if the jurisdiction I am applying to participates in the international testing?
I passed the cpa exam 10 years ago and have an accounting degree. I also have over 150 college credits. The only NY requirement I don't meet is the experience of 1 year under a cpa. I have been self employed for 12 years as a tax preparer and became an IRS enrolled agent. It will be very hard for me to work for another cpa. Is there a substitution to the experience requirement in NY. Or any ideas.
I live in Ohio, but I plan to sit for NY CPA exam. I would be graduating with 150 credits in December, but by August I’ll have completed 120 credits (but won’t have a bachelors since I won’t graduate until December). In that case, do you know if I could sit for the CPA exam from oct-dec (window) in NY? Or do you recommend another state to knock of 1-2 exams before I graduate?
I have many credits from accredited colleges/universities, but have never completed a degree- assuming I have at least 120 credits, will that fill the first educational requirement or must you have an actual bachelor's degree?
Hello sister, can you please help? I’m planning to sit for CPA exam. I have done all my education outside US. According to NASBA I have 150 credits, but I’m lacking 2 courses audit and attestation and taxation. Can I sit for the cpa exam or do I need to complete these course first? Thank you in advance:)
hi dear i hope u are doing well i graduated from faculty of commerce business administration but i studied nearly 8 accounting studying subjects during the college i am eligible to set the cpa exam or not thanks alot
Does Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA - United Kingdom) considered as fulfilling the 120 Hr requirement, considering AICPA and CIMA institutes have a mutual recognition agreement in place?
Hey, I have a question, I have a bachelor's degree in Finance from where I have 2 of the 4 courses required, so my question is Where could I take the taxation and audit online courses?
I appreciate the time you took to make a professional delivery in this video, but if you want to have success on RU-vid then you should present your videos just like you would talk to a close friend.
It’s Very nice and helpful presentation . I have a question. I completed my bachelor of commerce degree from Chittagong University at 1992 . I have worked in different commercial banks for 14 years in Bangladesh. I have been living in America since 2005. Am I qualify for the CPA exam ? If Answer is no , please let me know what I have to do for qualify. Thank you
Assalam alaikum mam I'm currently working in Saudi Arabia but i have done my graduation in India, I'm planning to apply for RRT in New York. What are the requirements for me to apply and how can I be able to achieve job in New York
I really don't find this to be fair, born and raised in the US but because the Bachelors degree was too expensive I am ineligible but overqualified. Screwed up.........There should be residency requirements.... Yeah lets screw over citizens to help random international people
