I remember back in like 2007 me and some friends from FL were partying in New York for a couple weeks, we ended up at a bar in the lower east side and Freddie was there, we went up to him and told him how much his music meant us ( my friend was so drunk he started crying and hugging him). Dude was honestly cool as fuck and talked to us for a bit, despite us totally fanning out as tourists. Hardcore lives.

Awesome, when you listen to madball you hear a guy with a lot of rage and angry whit their awesome lyrics but then you see him in a interview and see a very calm, humble, cool and a really nice guy!... he is a beast as a singer by the way .. greetings from paraguay bros!

Awesome!!! Agnostic Front and Madball were the first two hardcore bands I got into as a kid in South Africa in the early nineties. Through them I got to know other bands and people with a great message and good music. Changed my life. So thankful.

So true... when should be the "golden era"? It can be in the past or now who knows. But for sure there are "golden bands" and Madball is made of gold from the early days to present. Thank you for that! Great, efficacious and interesting interview

I saw Madball back in 1996 at the Camden Underworld London, was a big fan. I was down the front what I mostly remember from the show is that Freddy spat on me 😅

Yo. Vinny is dope. Madball, is dope! Life changes.. I grew up in a gang street hood. Punk rock, was my escape! It still is.. but make sure to show love to the cats that made it out! And always recognize, that life, can even be fucked up, for the kids, that had it all.. we choose sides on this world. And something. Don't stick around for the struggling kids, that live in the H e burbs.. everyone is fucked! And thatd why hardcore , exists..

It is amazing how a little compassion can go a long way. You made a trek to show compassion to another human being. You did it in the persons darkest hour. The post was about a guy named Minus. People have different tastes, and of all th bands for a person not to be a huge fan of Black Flag is the least surprising cause they're one of the most divisive bands in all of hardcore history
