1980 and 1987? You got your year wrong by a century.

There is no "you," just an AI voice program somewhere on the wrong setting and the whole fly by night operation doesn't even bother to look at the video before posting it.

Love the city-scape pics Mistake ! "Ostrich Farm" probably 1890, not 1980 😉 Mistake ! "City of Newburgh" probably 1897, not 1987.😊

When I see these pictures, through my 55yo eyes, it just reenforces the evidence I’ve seen and what I’ve learned of old world/new world, mud flood, Tartaria, orphan asylums, and cabbage babies……thank you

The younger generation of today has no idea how hard people worked in the past.
@AdamsOlympia
@AdamsOlympia 12 часов назад
As hard as many blue collar people still work today... but there were also academics and other 19th century professionals who didn't have physically demanding jobs.. The big difference is that kids back then were required to do far more work than is widely acceptable today; or at least they were assigned a heavy regime of chores like I had to do as a kid.

Love the 1987 photo @ 1:11 in this video!😮

It wasn't 1987. It was about 1900. There are horsedrawn carriages and the people are wearing clothing that is from back then. I lived in Newburgh, NY in 1987, and believe me, there were cars on the streets.

Do you mean how inappropriate the exotic Indian and Middle Eastern music is to accompany historical photos of the late 19th Century and early 20th Century, even though it sounds good?

Why the strange Indian music over American photos?
@AdamsOlympia
@AdamsOlympia 12 часов назад
Photos of American cities that were a literal melting pot of cultures steaming in from around the world, including from India. The music was just a mishmash of folk tunes that could have been brought over by any of the immigrants pictured within. Why does it upset you so?

The photo with the car, probably a car built in the 1930,s was dated 1900. Something not right there.

Yes. Both cars are from 1930 or even 1940!😮

4:13 Someone needs to bring back sail bikes in a big way! They still exist, but I've never seen one with such massive sails. I bet it'd fly on modern lightweight carbon fiber bikes.

That bridge in Chicago at 1:43 mark is a bascule type bridge, bascule is not the name of a street, there was no Bascule Street in Chicago. Interesting pictures, work on the research part of your videos.

Unfortunately, the cityscapes look like paintings, but the photos with the people are very good. The color brings these people to life in a way black and white does not.

Such a mish-mash of inaccuracies! Maybe you could double fact check before you upload completely wrong era photos. At 3:01, Cadillac didn't have a car to sell until 1903 and it sure didn't look anything like your photo leached from another website. This was about when I stopped watching your video and unsubscribed.

Slopping editing. Wrong dates. Unidentified locations. Strange music. Otherwise, still interesting.

This must be what Trump supporters mean when they say "Make America Great Again." I noticed a complete absence of black faces. Ah, the good 'ol days!
