Breanna Stewart was loving it on the bench. She was basically coaching the team from the bench to stop Angel and Breanna was pointing her out and clapping when she couldn’t score. It was great!

There were 5 defenders on the floor in those plays, same as this play. Those teams could've done this; those players could've blocked her shot or stripped the ball from her. It's all basketball. Don't be a hater of success.

Reese is a walking cone, hell she didn't even get on defense in one set & just stay near the basket cherry picking. Left her teammates 4 on 5, Reese needs a coach to call her out. I think Carter tried & she's been in the dog house because of it yet currently she is their leading scorer & possibly the Sky best.

Ive watched that clip 10 times and I continue to chuckle every time i see it. Reese is a good player but not in the same discussion withh CC for ROTY. CC is top 20 in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. CC scored or assisted on more points over the last 5 games than anyone in the history of the WNBA. She is a point producing machine!
Yeah, I had to laugh when I saw the triple team, the game was won, why bother? But yeah, "not on our watch" for the streak. Good for them. Goes to show it's more than the supposed CC crowd that were getting tired of AR's antics. Angel scored 10 points in #15 and only 8 points in this game which shows you have to be careful about celebrating streaks, those numbers didn't get it done winning games.

The way Carter drops her arms and sways them after she throws the ball to Allen...shows that Carter was fed up with this bullshyt and the backlash they got for this entire farsical "streak". She, like so many others, just wanted the fukery to end already. Remember that Spoon benched Carter in the 2H. Something happened in that locker room. So she benches Carter for--what I believe--perhaps her refusal to play along with Angel's artificial stat-padding...but had no problem with Carter when she gave Caitlin a potentially grave cheap shot. NO benching or team suspension or fine there. In fact, she defended Carter AND Reese after both their cheap shots against CC. Spoon is a racist and a terrible person. And she is just as much to blame as Angel for this whole debacle. She clearly gave her blessing for Angel to do this. If Spoon were a good, ethical coach, she would've punished Angel after the ATL game for stat-padding. Instead, she has sacrificed Cardoso to prop up Angel--who is her favorite. Remember, Cardoso is not white, but she is also not "black-black". I can guarantee you confidently--that their locker room has been fractured behind this debacle.
Yeah…like inexplicably taking Cardoso out v Seattle when the storm who likes to score in the paint..had no solutions for Kamila. They were up by 8 mid third qtr..then TSpoon took her out. Seattle goes from down 8 to up 15. Yet cardoso was never put back in. It was simply to give Reese more chances at rebounding. Yesterday..she took out Carter..her best scorer and kept feeding the ball to Reese..who kept missing. I’ve heard rumors Spoon is unstable. Her coaching is proving just that.

Cythia Cooper (my wnba goat) fired for sexually assaulting one of her players, and what you are saying about T-Spoon. Haven't heard anything about that. I agree Carter if you notice these last two games had the ball and seem not to pass it to Reese. Instead passed it to another player and they passed it to Reese. Something is going on.

Why are we even talking about this? 3-13 shooting… Struggling to get 10pts… Stats are something you look at after the game… insisting on getting the ball 🏀 when basically the game is over just shows the lack of maturity and it’s all about me attitude. Finish around the rim? Her whole fucking game is under the rim. I get so tired of people making excuses for her missing easy shots that are mostly 2-3 feet away from the rim. The girl cannont shoot, she was 8 for 30 the last 2 games, thats 27% shooting, anyone else chucking up 30 shots for them would have been better. She only excells against small defensive lineups, any teams playing big, she is non existent.
It seem like Reese is expecting her shot to be blocked. That causes her to just flip it or throw it up. I wouldn't even call it a shot or lay up she just throws it up.

The way I have seen it this season is not that she’s a rival for Clark as much as she is rivaling for the award for ROTY. After ROTY is over, nobody’s going to care about that anymore, it’ll be how you do in the league and if your career can keep developing and moving forward. That’s yet to be seen.
Reese had PLENTY of chances to get her sham double-double! She missed wide-open layup after wide-open layup! There is no way in hell that Reese should be anywhere near the ROTY conversation and she's far from being anywhere near the superstar player that Caitlin Clark is and that is a known fact!!!!

It is normal in sports to push back. I hope people understand that. For example, if a pitcher in baseball is trying to get a no-hitter you obviously TRY to get a hit. You don't metaphorically move out of the way like a spineless chump. You don't give-up so the pitcher has all the glory. It's called competition. It's the whole point. No one is picking on anyone here. The Liberty are simply competing with some pride. One would hope they would. Now Chicago can get re-focused on winning instead of consecutive double-double records. All that said, Reese clearly has reason to be proud of her streak.
I have so much respect for BrewStew. That's called veteran leadership. Her teammates respect her. Her opponents respect her. She knew what she was doing, and her teammates knew the assignment. Watch it very careful when Reese drives to the basket she gets walled up by the defense. She then brings the ball down and the defender reaches for the ball. Reese then moves her pivot foot to clear to pass the ball out. The Refs missed the call of traveling..

How is an accomplishment if liberty let her have a basket. How stupid for everyone to part ways and let her have a layup. Plus her coverage of three players join Caitlin’s world every single game all game long! Means nothing when people give it to you!
This play and the plays Angel when Angel scored at the end of those other games are all justified because they are all just basketball plays. To justify this but call her streak fraudulent because she deliberately scored to keep it alive is hypocritical and bias, and an indication of hate in the heart.

Reese was more upset about not getting her double double than for the loss. Her double double was a farce and the W(WE)NBA tried their best to keep the streak going. Caitlin can probably average a double double the 2nd half of the season if she wanted to.

WNBA olayers do not jump for rebounds. Reese is taller and just reaches up ang gets rebounds. She is no getting them by fighting for them.. she just stands there with her arms up. CC is the only shooter in WNBA who really takes a jump shot.. She is airborn when she releases. Someone needs to teach these women how to jump. Lack of jumping, lack of speed in transition makes the WNBA boring. CC goes all out in transition 96^ of the time. Reese moves like a sloth to get back. This is why CC games are fun to watch, they have action like NBA. It is Pathetic that these tall women are over 6'3 and they can't jump high enough to touch the rim when the NBA has had bplayers under 5'10 that could dunk.
Why is no one mentioning the fact that Reese travelled big time when she was triple teamed under the basket?? She's tap dancing! Wasn't called, of course.
To be honest, Angel Reese hasn't even shown a great motor over the past couple of weeks. There are examples of her cherry picking on plays and never getting back at all on defense. That could also be stat padding though, as it seems like the 10 points part of the double double has been harder for her than the 10 rebounds.
Let's not forget Tina Charles purposely fouled her to let her shoot the free throws last game so she could reach ten points, it's so obvious what what had been happening. Barely shooting forty percent from three or less feet away, that's either rebound stat padding or she's the worse interior shooter in basketball history, sry she's just average at best be because if ya add her FG % to her stats it VERY revealing she's a horrible interior player
I think it needed to end for her benefit.. She had 30+ consecutive rebounds in college.. She can get a streak going again but for now the narrative needed to change.
To be clear, loving what the Liberty did has nothing to do with hating Angel Reese. I think Reese is a damn good player and her double double streak was super impressive. But when you are a professional athlete, you don't pad stats and you especially don't pad stats when the game is clearly over and both teams should be running down the clock. It's about dignity and respect for other professional athletes. Reese has more maturing to do.

I think the Liberty AND Reese's teammates had had enough of the double-double crap that had nothing to do with basketball. The stat padding being assisted by your teammates AND the opposing teams was a pathetic thing to watch and ultimately embarrassing to the league. Opposing teams should double-team whoever has the ball leaving Angel open so she will shoot with her .3 shooting average from under the basket instead of someone else taking a shot. Angel will get her shots and rebounds and lose the game.
This whole thing goes back to their coach, just call timeout get Reese to take a seat with pride. Have her "Chicago" fans give her an ovation/applauds then move on. Teach this kid that she needs to think like a grown up/professional now. Instead of bending Reese, teach her it's a team game not an I game. Angel did well, however it's time to move on & create new streak or dare I say it learn to pass. Carter and cardoso are done with this foolishness. Reese only started getting any significant stats once cardoso came back from injury to absorb double and triple coverages.
