Hello from Corleone Sicilia. ( That is where we are right now. It is where my Great Great Grandfather was from ). There are not too many more Sicilian / Italian clubs or Neighborhoods left in NYC. And Little Italy has almost been taken over by China Town. Very sad but true.

In May 1992 I stayed at the Carlton Arms Hotel, a youth hostel at 160 E 25th St, New York, NY 10010, United States. Opposite stood a single-storey shabby union hall, the carpenters' union if I recall correctly. The Sunday afternoon as I was looking out the window, a car pulled up outside. Out got two mid-40s guys, maybe 5'8", stocky, with male pattern baldness, shades, and forearms like Popeye after the spinach went down. One stood looking up the street, one down. Then, large cars started arriving. Five of them, at intervals, one after the other. An older guy got out of each with another younger middle-aged guy like the 'Popeyes', and went into the hall. A couple of hours later, with the Popeye twins still on guard, the cars showed up one after one and took the old guys and their number twos away. I'm pretty sure I probably saw a meeting of the Commission.

I'm a native born New Yorker from the Bronx. Although I don't live there anymore? But what about mentioning some of that ....??? Like the crew that was in the area of the Bronx near? Fordham University huh? .... Back in the day? Neighborhoods were quiet and anybody that went into some of the Burroughs communities would be spotted by members of the various La Familia huh? Ohhh? Anyway How about a little show to the Bronx . Grazie.
@romancingmanhattantours6640
I hear ya, lol. My mom’s side of the family is from the Bronx. We don’t have anything in the pipeline for The Bronx as of right now. Maybe in the future. Thanks for watching and for your input.

Because it’s all the cliches Vinny…they just seem to wanna do the cliche ones and leave out the other ones, in fact I’m sure the only reason why they featured Jimmy Browns Veterans and Friends is because of that car bombing involving DeCicco.

Fat Tony was the real Boss of the Genovese Crime Family then he stepped down after he had a stroke and then Vincent The Chin Giagante took over the Genovese Crime Family and Fat Tony was then the Front Boss of the Family .
@mrjw6701
@mrjw6701 Год назад
Phillip Lombardo became the official boss after Vito Genovese died, Lombardo was the boss from 1969 until he retired in 1981. Salerno was the underboss from 1975-81 and was promoted to front boss in 1981 when Gigante became the new boss of the family.
