"New Zealand have lost their aura of invincibility"........ I've been listening to that comment being made off and on for 30 years of my adult life and it reveals how much free rent the AB's get from living in other people's heads and how long they've been parked up in there. The mighty AB's have always been well aware of the fact they're not invincible, which is why they put so much phuqqing effort in ya feebs. It's everyone else that generates that aura in their own heads and then uncomfortably denies its current existence by claiming that somehow it's the AB's that have lost it. Faces have been palmed.
From a Welsh fan .. ever since I was a kid the all blacks have been the yardstick for everyone else.. they are the epitome of consistency and the team every neutral wants to watch
The problem with alot of these talk back shows is that they become selective in their comments, & without much info tò back it up, & when proved wrong , you don't hear them talk about it, they spew out the same old sh,,t & to be honest, probably never ever watched the game.
It is only the NH who talk about the "all blacks aura" no SH country talks like that and then the irony is they go on about this "aura" then in the same breath always say " the all blacks have lost their aura of invincibility this time round" - you lot might as well make a record because you repeat the same old tosh every four years.
AS a true blue AB man the prep done for this world cup has been empecable. The choice of players that come with a vast arrangement of skill sets the losses over the past two years i see not as vulnerability but a cementing of game plans that with the right people in the right positions will make them a formidable force period. To get to that point they rolled the dice in a couple of games and came up short but that wasnt the end of the world instead questions that had to be asked of the players themselves were asked and the answers were in their results. For me this is the most prepared AB team mentally physically and good luck to who ever is on the other side
Spot on, the All Blacks have been tinkering for two years and have not been at full force. All Blacks by 2 tries against the Boks at most, anything more than that watch out world.
@@tupunamichael7349 Kia-ora bro good controlled game from the All Blacks aye bro, a few kinks here and there to fix. I liked how they slowed down the rush defense with touch rugby in play. South Africa ran out of sprint after about 25 minutes hence Anton's try assist to Scott :-)
@@johntaylor3298 Yeah bro well prepared just like Hansen said before the tournament started as long as they do that mentally the physical side of things will take care of itself come Gametime, and that's what happened they were patient and waited out what the Boks had to throw at them and pounced when the opportunities came and took advantage! Clinical by there standards bro.
This aura is simply the perspective of the opposition of the All Blacks. The All Blacks won't care their ”aura” is gone, it's all about game prep and showing up.
LOOK. STEVE HANSEN is still there. He is the best coach. You take the best coach leading player of the highest level and they will always perform. Just like ALEX FERGUSON, Steve knows how to rebuild teams, and he is in total command and knows what he wants.
All Blacks Rugby what do they have to prove?...how many teams have beaten by 0....they play with flair not structured they play out of the box... that's why they have had success well in a hundred years of Rugby.... no team is unbeatable but whoever has the least mistakes and defends well will win on the day.
The fact is nz is used to dominate and they don't know how to cope with not winning the tackles. They are not used to do drop goals etc. And that's why England beat them. Because they were physically and tactically better. The aura of invicibility is a thing because the All blacks are almost Always the dominating team on the field. The confidence then builds up because they are used to win games because they usually are the best team on the pitch. From a french fan hoping to take revenge from 2011 at 2023's World cup :*
Hahaha! Still going on about NZABs losing there aura????? Joke! Been saying this since ‘99! That’s 20 years, 2 world cups and a million tri nations victories ago! Let alone white washing the Lions in ‘05 when Woodward famously said NZ never front up when it really counts!! Lol! He also said ‘87 WC didn’t count as Bocks weren’t there😂 I’m Scottish and I see it how it is! Aura or no aura NZABs are continuously at the top! Haka or no Haka, ABs are at the top! Even when they beat teams, especially England; Pundits talk about how beatable NZ are😂 Ofcourse they are, go and do it then!!
I love the "EXPERTS" from the Northern Hemisphere Rugby Nations and their "EXPERT" opinions on ... not only just the All Blacks but the Southern Hemisphere ....... WHAT DO THEY BASE THEIR EXPERTISE ON??? Is it the fact that out of the 8 World Cups .... only ONE Northern Nation has won it ... ever? Or is it because at the last RWC, NO Northern Nation team made it to the Semifinals? Or maaaaaybe because at the last RWC, England (the Northern hemisphere "powerhouse") didn't make it out of pool play .... with home advantage. Or possibly, because the Southern teams are not part of the much lauded Six Nations ... the "GREATEST TOURNAMENT in the World" ... apparently. One thing you can rely on from the Northern Hemisphere Rugby community .... is the "EXPERTS", their ability to ignore facts or reality ..... and their arrogance to think they are the AUTHORITIES on World Rugby.
New Zealand never lost a pool game. Now there you go. Not going to happen this time either. NZ WC mode will be different from RC and November international's. NZ are experimenting. They will win the WC
Non kiwi players just dont get it. Aura, invincibility and other superlatives just wash over the All Blacks because they ultimately are meaningless. This is where other teams stuggle to capitalise. The Abs are trained to ignore the white noise. Japan just beat Ireland. Totally predictable. Ireland were mired in self talk and emotion nonsense since they beat the ABs in America. You have made a serious error in judgement and ignored the facts of NZrugby. We knew who was likely to get into the squad. We hear things from players and clubs because we live here. Hype has never done it for NZ. They win because they are extremely focused, have a plan that can be adapted if needs be and have destructive firepower. Its better to acknowledge their consistent performance than to ignore it. Being true to anything is always the key to understanding how its done. Trashing the ABs is only done by they who have never played them or are delusional. Other teams could adopt the AB attitude but very few do. The ABs are not invincible...another meaningless word....but they are dominant in attitude. And its a learned skill that any team can take on board.
