Green island is where the NZ Air Force had a base . Brian Cox wrote 3 books and 2 of them deal with Green Island . In Feb 1945 6 NZAF pilots lost their lives that were based on that island . That was NZ's worst day for its flyboys . AND a HUGE thanks about Richard Nixon , I didn't know !
