Thank you for these Tuesday tips. After 30 years of shooting my kids, nieces and nephews (and too many weddings) I have our 1st grandaughter. Looking foreward to trying some of your ideas. Great images.
Great Video, its the little things, like the pears and changing the back drop which makes a load of difference to a photo,, i love the photos by the way
Such a great tutorial thanks! I really love the vintage soft vibe. Sorry if you have already been asked but what lighting setup do you have and how have you created that backdrop sheet?

Hi Julie! Great video. Right now I only have suitcases and baskets. Where can I find a pram or other props like the ones you have? Are there any prop resources you can recommend?
how do you get baby laying like this so comfortably? I did my first session andI couldnt get him on his belly... didnt help that mother didnt know either! Thank you so much for posting this video
Congratulations on some beautiful shots. I would like to take similar photos of my grandchild. I just wondered what camera, lens and lighting you used.
Loved the video. Great pictures and ideas. I wanted to ask where do you get your props from? they are beautiful and very unique :) would love to hear from you. Thank you
Something I ordered a while back came in a USPS box that seemed just the right size for sitting a newborn inside and using baby's hands to prop up head on the edge of the box. I am saving it. Not a professional photographer, but like to play a little. Little kids and babies are not easy, but if I shoot enough, sometimes I get a great pic. Need to figure out how to make the edge of the box comfy for baby's arms. Would like to use those packing "noodles" too. Maybe gluing them to pieces of different sizes of fine netting could work? A blanket or afghan would be nice too. Wonder if using bubble wrap is possible...Props take a lot of trial and error and time! Good to have a baby doll or teddy bear for experimenting.
hi julie i love your video excuse my english i am not very well but i try, i would like to know were you have buy the tutu. your technique is very easy and help me witth my sesion with new born and i love this. thank's again Nancy
What I find helpfull is I tell the mothers to hold off on a feed until they get to the studio if they can of course I dont want a baby going an hour or so over a feed, and then stuffing them when they get to me. The babies after a large dose of milk want to sleep and I find they want to stay in poses alot more.
Jobelle Manaloto Its not the camera, its if you know how to shoot it and lighting thats important. And if you knew anytging about photography you wpuld know what lens you need for portrait photography. Shes probably using a 50mm or 85mm if shes using prime
