Join me for an epic walk around the centre of one of Britain's greatest cities: Newcastle upon Tyne! With history dating right back to the Roman era, there is so much to see in Newcastle, including the city's distinctive Georgian architecture, its spectacular bridges, some beautiful churches, one of England's most legendary football stadiums, and so much more!
On our walk around Newcastle, we pass so many interesting landmarks, including (but not limited to): the River Tyne, the Tyne Bridge, Swing Bridge, High Level Bridge, Castle Stairs, The Castle (Newcastle Castle), the 'Black Gate', Newcastle Cathedral, the statue of Robert Stephenson, Newcastle Station, St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral, The Gate, Grainger Market, Central Exchange, Grey's Monument, Northumberland Street, St. Thomas' Church, Newcastle South African War Memorial, Haymarket Bus Station, St. Thomas' Crescent, Leazes Park, Leazes Terrace, St. James' Park Stadium, Chinatown, Newcastle old town walls, Morden Tower, Hadrian's Tower, Bigg Market Fountain, Grey Street, Railway Viaduct and then back down to the River Tyne!
