I totally agree with you man, these type of mv’s that they’re doing with NewJeans shows that they’re normal teenagers doing things that are normal for their age, it gives the vibes that they are more approachable than normal. Im totally vibing with their releases and hope they keep going with this kind of sound.

No Anthony, you're def not wrong about them seeming "relatable" and like "every day girls". I'm 27, but watching this took me back to my childhood lol. It's so nostalgic for me. The sounds of the songs, the styling, the way Attention is shot like a coming-of-age teen drama or something. You didn't react to Hype Boy in this, but I got similar feelings out of that too. The concept is so appropriate for girls their age imo, as the girls are all teens and the MVs just seem like them doing teenager things. I'm really impressed with NewJeans' rollout and concept. I'm very interested to see where they go in the future with these girls. I hope they keep this sound and so long as the girls are minors, they keep it appropriate for them. They definitely stand out for me. Also, glad to see you're feeling better! :)

what i love most about new jeans is that they're age appropriate!! they're just teenagers doing teenager things, and i love how they're allowed to be kids. too many kids grow up too quick in the industry via sexualizing and exploitation. i absolutely love their concept, it's flirty and fun! and their sound is amazing, old school but fresh and super vibey. so excited to see where they're headed :)

im afraid every song they've dropped so far has been a smash hit. i will be tuning in.

I got this from koreaboo but their name: New Jeans means NewJeans is a double-meaning name. Firstly, jeans as a piece of garment are known for their timelessness. Each generation has its emblematic new style of jeans. This group follows the same ambition to become a representative figure of this generation’s pop culture. Secondly, the name is also a wordplay on the phrase “new genes.” The implication here is that this group is going to usher in a new era of the new generation in pop music.

I think it’s cool that these girl look relatable and attainable. Their brand is a breath of fresh air. I feel like these songs could be on a TLC album back in the late 90s/early 2000s.

I also love how when they do choreo !!!! people say they're "out of sync" but it works so much cause its like intentional lack of perfectness thats reminds you of just having fun without worrying about perfection. i feel like their individual personalities shows in their dancing which makes it so refreshing in a way from the super precise cookie cutter that we're used to now that kinda reminds you that they are in fact very young and imperfect making them relatable to their target audience... i can see them becoming the new it-girls for their age group because of how set apart their entire debut it

This is exactly what I said, they feel like the concept and vibe is supposed to feel relatable and age appropriate as opposed to some ambiguous we're sexy girls concept. It still bothers me how young they are, but they are undeniably talented and I realllly love the songs and production/instrumentals. They sound absolutely gorgeous.

Very nostalgic… I love it … very regular but not in a bad way ,.. just music that you can chill with ….

New Jeans definitely is going for a more "Grounded" feel. Like anthony said they feel more relatable and less like your typical idols.

I also love how they sing in their natural low voices and not how most kpop has girls and women sing in those incredibly high, forced, cutesy baby voices

if you really only wanna do one video for Hype Boy i recommend watching Minji’s version BUT i recommend watching all four since they all tie together. and surprisingly, listening to Hype Boy four times cus of the MVs made me like listening to it even more than i did the first time (it’s a hit i feel like you’ll like it immediately like i did hehe)
