Here in Europe, you don't even have to count yourself, if you go to pub with people, the waiters will count the beers by individual anyway.

It’s easy for millennials to go Dutch but it might be rather awkward for the senior Koreans. Take for example for someone who goes to a workplace dinner and doesn’t drink but the group will still split the bill, food and drinks all together. 😂

Of course, you can buy your whole meals as something good happens. However, suppose you and your friend have money that could afford to buy some meals. You always buy them a lot. If you do it often, Maybe your friend would think that you will always buy meals. To prevent this, Going Dutch is a good thing.
