The graphics, backgrounds, broadcast quality, clothing, and the way broadcasters present news and shows on North Korean TV, along with the street scenes and people's appearances, all make it feel like we're watching a channel from the 2000s.

Otro día glorioso en nuestro amado regimen, seguimos siendo la primera potencia mundial, sin tasas de pobreza y hambruna y lo mejor de todo, no existe aquí reguetón ni bad bonny 👌🏻
1. Kumsusan taeyang palace is former presidential palace for the first president Kim Il Sung(1912-1994). Now it is being used to display the mummies of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. First news about North Korean leaders visiting the place. 2. other news are also about celebrating the founding day of North Korean regime(1948/9/9). One interesting thing is that you can see retired leaders, invited as special guests from the second news about 'ocean sports show(?)' Thanks again for your marveouls effort!
0:32 the sound of that first male presenter is somewhat heavier but at the same time also relaxing to listen, especially when he said "sumnida" in a unique way.
Standing room only with the Standing Committee of the Revolutionary Free Workers of North Korea! Just the way I like my fresh-squeezed Juche and still warm-from-the-oven Sumida. Bravo, Great Leader Peter Fairlie!
1. Senior Party and Government Officials Visit Kumsusan Palace of Sun Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- All the Korean people are significantly greeting the founding anniversary of the glorious DPRK on the general advance for dynamically opening a broad avenue to the comprehensive national prosperity under the blueprint of great changes unfolded by the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea. They are paying the highest tribute and eternal glory to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the founder and builders of dignified socialist Korea. Kim Tok Hun, Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Pyong Chol, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, and other senior Party and government officials, deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly and leading officials of armed forces organs visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, on September 8 on the occasion of the 76th birthday of the DPRK. A floral basket in the name of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was laid at the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. Placed at the statues were floral baskets in the names of the WPK Central Committee, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK. The participants paid high tribute to the statues of the great leaders. At the halls where Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il lie in state, the participants paid homage to the great leaders in humble reverence for them, who devoted their whole lives to accomplishing the sacred cause of prosperity of the country and wellbeing of the people, performing great immortal exploits and laying a solid foundation for the invincible socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence. I am not sure if you will be able to read this. I heard that RU-vid delete the comment if the comment is copied and pasted from other source.
I'm seeing it. Sometimes when you post it won't show up right away. RU-vid does not remove anything that I don't know about. 1. I'm not sure whether it's the north korean dialect or the entire language itself but it basically means respect after saying a person's name that is of high authority or is respected, if they mention Kim Jong un or kim il sung in a sentence they have to end it with "sumnida"
"슴니다" (sumnida) is the formal ending in Korean, commonly used in polite and formal speech. It is part of the verb ending, which is attached to the stem of a verb to convey respect in a formal setting. This ending is often used in professional settings, public announcements, or when speaking to someone of higher status or whom you wish to show respect.
BEST KOREA definitely got the best news broadcast in the world. EVERYTHING IS ALL WELL AND GOOD IN BEST KOREA. HAPPIEST NATION ON EARTH - BEST KOREA . . . . . . . . . This comment was paid for by The People's Republic of BEST KOREA. Actually they didn't pay at all, they used extortion instead.
Yes, their signal comes with imbedded closed captions. You can auto translate using RU-vid on a PC. Here is how: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JofJHcxS39A.html
@@peterfairlie2296 That's cool to hear they do. A part of me didn't think they would. Also, auto-translate seems to only work on a few of your North Korean vidoes for me and the rest only offer the "auto-Korean" with no other option. Not sure what is going on, but this video was the first in a while I could actually get the auto-translate to work. It also seemed to glitch up a lot, randomly start repeating itself, and then dunp a ton of captions at once before working for a bit and then not doing anything before a ton comes at once again. It's been a weird experience for me and this happens no matter the device and no matter if I use my account, logged out, or incognito mode. It's been really weird.
You don't even need to speak Korean lol. Trust me, as a Korean speaker... , It's exactly what you think it would be. It's all just like " Follow the GREAT Comrad Kim and Let's complete his GREAT revolution achievment!" And it's just like saying how perfect The great leader is. It's pretty funny.
On my computer, part of the translation says, "... the great men of all times and patriots, Kim Jong-Un, will continue to raise the farmland of Kim Jong-Un, a CLOWN who has not been around for half a millennium…" lol
