when you are doing your pin point painting, like on the marker lights and what not, it looks like you're using the back end of a pointy brush or the pointy part of a chop stick. if not what is it. and this is a great build video. your painting techniques showed me some new things.

Great video, and awesome job! I need to get myself an airbrush, really like the shading affect you did! LED's are cool too! Turns out I finished this same model about the time you were posting yours. I turned mine into Jetfire though, I hope you don't mind if I post a link to mine? ...as I'm new to making videos and models.

Lol what the hell was that grease part bro? No one expects any grease on anything, that says you don't need glue like most kit manuals also include 🤣my dude said the exact opposite after too. Fr though awesome paint and led job

Uh. When did the design originally come out? Because I think it was adapted to be the original g1 Jetfire.

It was. Hasbro bought the design rights from Takatoku in the 80's. Takatoku went out of business and was purchased by Bandai. Long story short, Hasbro had to change the design for legal reasons.

@@snakenbits4279 Yep, which is why we've never been able to get another proper G1 style Jetfire with this iconic design. Please check out my vid of how I made this model into Jetfire if you are interested.

Bandai already made a Valkyrie kit, back in 2013. Though they're doing HG Macross kits now (the YF-19 and the YF-29, so far) so maybe they'll do one in that line.
