I have bought this machine 3 years back. Seldom use it, its quite useful for home items. Its very basic so don't expect anything complicated. Recently had use it on towel material, bicycle bags(soft type), light carpet material (4 layers, to place under heavy furniture for sliding) & sew on Skylight curtain (4 layers). It does the job. I do recommend after some usage & hear its become louder. Open it up & grease it properly. It will work fine.
@@robertannie2200 actually online shoppings are doubt full to buy according to mine experiments so prices couldn't matter if products are reliable aftr open up the packings,Thats why I am really confused to on line shoppings. Thanks Regards
I'm stuck on the threading the bottom bobbin? Beginner sewer and I cannot understand what is going on in the video, period. I tried setting it up the way she shows in the video, but it is not picking up the thread and I thoroughly do not understand how to do this.
hold on to the needle thread while spinning the wheel manually towards you. The bobbin thread will "latch" onto it. Do this slowly, you will see two threads get "entangled" with each other.
In addition to Stella's answer,,, make sure your bobbin is facing the right way. From the looks of it in this video, it should feed with the thread coming out on the right... like if you hold the bobbin up, it should look like a "d" and NOT a "b"... hope that makes sense. Go to 2:53 and take note of which direction the bobbin is "feeding"... it DOES make a difference!
I actually want this specific one because it remind me so much of the one I had at school that I will never forget gave me the memories and great sewing experiences
My machine isn't working after just one use. My thread keeps messing up and so does the main functions of the machine. It keeps getting my thread stuck.
its a great little one, i dont know why so many idiots on youtube keep calling it a uten when a uten is a much better version a 200 stich computerized machine
That is the sloppiest buttonhole I’ve ever seen. You’re supposed to leave the needle in the fabric before raising the presser foot to change direction.
The 6-volt motor used is not long at all. It breaks easily and a replacement costs like the same machine (I am a repair technician) .. And for what it costs, they get a machine used 40 years ago that will last another 40 years.
thanks. but no thank I prefer my Jerome bby ...personally don't have time to play on this toy it looks good for teenagers who are learning how to sew but most important part is speed which it don't seem to have
