I am facing the same issue, battery percentage suddenly drops after 10% but service centre is denying by saying that there is no issues with the battery. Kindly assist me how you got your car’s battery replaced.
@@MrDebranjandutta range will be calculated using your previous driving behaviour.. so it is tend to show erratically.. I guess punch long range might give 250-280 km real world range, so calculate as 1% battery will give 2.5 - 3 km.. since it is new you will take time to adjust to ev driving.. it took almost 2000 km driving initially for me to get adjusted and understand my vehicle
Hello Sir, I’m considering purchasing the Punch EV LR. I plan to travel from Bangalore to Udupi (a 430 km journey) twice a month (round trip). Do you think it’s a good idea to go for an EV, and are there sufficient charging points available along the route?
@@sathish777 enough charging points are available.. but it will take almost 8-9 hours.. Bangalore to Udupi you can go with ease.. Udupi to Bangalore you might face some challenges.. if your budget permits Tata Curvv LR good option (real world range 400km).. punch LR you might get 270-280km.. Nexon LR (300 km) will be more comfortable than punch.. choose according to your need👍
@@sathish777 please remember, at charging station some other car is charging or power failure, be prepared to wait for 1-2 hr.. I am telling this because your frequency of travel.. Plus points - travel cost turn out to be cheap, driving comfort Negative point- charging time, unplanned waiting sometimes at charging site Alternatives- hybrid or cng
My car could not get charged after going into limp mode. After getting towed Tata Motors replaced the battery. They find it easier to replace the battery rather than fixing it. They probably replaced it with someone else old battery which they had replaced and fixed at their own pace. I shudder to think how much they will charge us if they have to replace the battery once it’s out of warranty
