Glad I could help mate. Enjoy the new wheel. I recently picked up the CSL DD and should have a review out before Fanatec starts shipping the GT DD Pro, so hopefully that will be useful also. 👍
@@rodolfopereira2142 loving it. I bought some caster wheels, and when I’m not using it I roll it into a closet. When I am using it there is no movement, everything feels heavy and quality, very happy with the purchase.
1.5" Threaded Stem Casters with Brake, Heavy Duty Swivel Caster with M8x25 Threaded Stem and Nuts for Shopping Carts, Trolley, Workbench, Furniture (Pack of 4) (M8x25)
I'm actually surprised how lowkey this thing is and how more populair the lawnchair rig seems to be. Personally this is perfect because it's sturdy, has the option of upgrade and most important part that does not get enough praise is the tray holding the chair, my biggest issue solved.
For sure Gary; while the F-GT Lite and GT Lite are both fantastic rigs for small spaces, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is an all-round much more robust offering. You'll have no problem running a direct drive wheel on this beast. 👍
Thanks for your question @@AdamsOlympia. The Wheel Stand 2.0 is certainly sturdy enough to be used with a motion setup. And, in theory, you could bolt some compatible motion actuators to the bottom of the wheel stand, using the mounting points that the feet screw into. I would also assume that you'd need to use the GT seat add-on instead of a regular office seat ( www.adaptnetwork.com/gaming/sim-racing/next-level-racing-gt-seat-add-on/ ). However, I'd recommend reaching out to the motion rig manufacturer to check compatibility, as I'm not 100% sure. I hope that helps. 👍
Just bought one of these and reasonably happy. I don't trust the folding up of the stand. I really don't want my gear falling over in the middle of the night. The secure bolts also don't hold it closed very well when folded. It's quite heavy. Ok now the negs out the way. Everything you said in the video is bang on.
Thanks for your comment and kind words Paul-I'm really glad you're getting on well with the wheel stand. I'm the same way when it comes to looking after my gear. However, at least with the wheel stand, it doesn't take up too much space in the corner of your room, even when it's not folded. Happy sim racing bud!
I’ve been trying to decide between the F-GT Lite cockpit with a Logitech g923, or a wheelstand with a DD wheel combo. This video might be one of the best/most informative for me. The gaming chair cradle is an absolute game-changer. I have a Herman-Miller that would be really nice to use with this wheel stand. The foldaway capability could be what seals the deal for me, as I’m working with limited space as well. A+ review, mate
@@andyaceswe I got the Gran Turismo DD Wheel with the Next Level Wheel Stand 2.0. It's heavy and weighty enough to withstand the torque on the wheel, as well as having my office chair docked in. I actually ended up buying a PSVR2 also, so using all 3 it's a pretty rad sim experience :)
I got this recently and it works wonderfully at my desk. It is pretty heavy with all the gear attached. I would recommend as you said in the video with the casters on the front legs. I'm already considering upgrading to the standalone seat and monitor stand. The addiction is real
Thanks for your comment and advice Cody. I'm stoked you're enjoying the Wheel Stand 2.0; it's really well built in my opinion. Welcome to the world of sim racing bud! 👍
Your review made me buy it. I was looking for a sim rig that has a seat as confortable as my noblechairs without breaking the bank. Now I don't have to anymore. Thanks!
Good review! Two tips for future wheelstand/rig reviews: 1. Maybe use a more powerful (if you own one that is) wheel/pedal-combo to show the viewers how it reacts. 2. Show more footage of the flex. Where and if it exist. Different angles is key! In this case some other reviewers pointed out the shiftermount was prone to flexing.
Thanks for your brilliant feedback Slimpan-I really appreciate it and I’ll be sure to incorporate this into future sim racing wheel stand/rig reviews. 👍
This is exactly the type of review I was looking for this product. Very detailed and the measurements and info helped me make my decision - I'm getting one!! Can't wait to fit a proper Fanatec DD wheel on it and start driving.
@@ADAPTNetwork thanks for your reply. I'm coming from a T300rs on a Wheel Stand Pro and wanted to upgrade to DD and was thinking of getting the new Gran Turismo DD wheel base. Was wondering if this Wheel Stand 2.0 could handle it and if I could easily fold it away in my cupboard after use. Your brilliant review has convinced me it can handle it and I don't think space will be more of an issue than it is now with the Wheel Stand Pro. Really can't wait to upgrade my gear but availability on this great stand is becoming an issue I can't find reasonably good prices on it that ship to my location.
Great review! I have PSVR2 preordered and w/ GT7 being fully VR I'm looking to get the Fanatec DD Pro. It's my first dip into sim racing, so wasn't sure what set up would actually work for me, but thanks to your review, I think this one fits the bill!
Thanks for your comment Norman-I'm really glad you found the review useful. With VR, this would be an awesome first sim racing setup. See you on the virtual race track!
comparison to lower class stand for those thinking about upgrade, every detail on dimensions shown graphically, step by step set up (sped up to save viewers time), video from many angles, etc.... bless you sir! watching this without sound and still getting all the info... THIS is how reviews should be! big up ADAPT I guess next level should pay you or at least hype you for such product review. Its not often that I watch whole video on youtube.
Adjustment of the wheel stand is pretty annoying once you’ve got it all set up. There are no push pins or spring loaded latches - everything is held together by bolts that need an Allen key to loosen and tighten. A friend of mine came over to try out the WS2.0 and I needed to undo 8 bolts to get everything lined up for him which was a pain in the ass, as it prevented us from being able to swap back and forth. I would’ve really liked to have seen some sort of latching or push pin mechanism to quickly adjust some key parts of the stand without having to break out tools and spend 10 minutes adjusting everything. Also, as you mentioned, the unit is very heavy once fully built (and awkward to move through a door due to its width with the shifter plate add on). I race on my pc and my ps5 in the living room and moving the WS2.0 in and out of my office and living room is a pain due to its size and weight - castor wheels would’ve been massively appreciated.
For sure mate, I would definitely recommend picking up some caster wheels if you need to move the wheel stand between rooms. On a plus side, the extra weight keeps the wheel stand planted when racing hard. Also, good points about the adjustability mechanics.
Just bought this and I tested it with my g29 bolted down and all, but just the steering wheel without turning it on since I need to do some electronic changes on my pedals, and I got to say that I feel already super satisfied with it in my camping chair that eventually whenever I can afford it at the right time and place I’ll just get the GT seat add on and I already got myself a full rig without any need to by a new rig such as the playseat sensation pro (my TRUE ideal type of racing rig) or an F GT elite/ GT elite which people said that they’re both good as well but all 3 rigs that I’ve just mentioned are quite pricy so that’s why I’d just stick with getting the GT seat add on ngl 😂✌️.
Thanks for your comment Spyke-I'm really glad you found the review useful. I don't have any cupboards big enough to fit the Wheel Stand 2.0 either, but it does tuck away nicely in the corner of a room. 👍
Yeah im buying this for my Moza rig my current stand has to be ratchet straps to my desk to keep it still when using it with a DD on it or even my g29 and the chair craddle thing is a huge bonus im so looking forward to this
Thanks for your comment and kind words tunsiehelden-it really means a lot. I hope I was also able to shed some light on your other question regarding running direct drive wheels with the GT Lite. 👍
Looking to get a wheel stand for my g29. You've sold me as I'm looking for something I can use with my ps5 for gran turismo 7 and pc. This seems perfect. Thank you
Thanks for your comment Michael. I'm stoked you like the review and the Wheel Stand 2.0. Just to clarify, we chose to run the wheel stand slightly further from the monitor for the purpose on the video, so that viewers can get a better look at it. In normal use though, I would run it much closer like you suggest. 👍
Hello buddy! First of all just wanna thank you a bunch for that awesome of a review that you have brought up for us, you are really doing a great job covering all the key points so we can make an idea on what to expect for this wheel stand. However, small question: does this wheel stand comes with bolts for wheel and shifter? I am planning to mount my TM TX Leather edition and Th8a shifter which don't come with mounting bolts for a wheel stand.
Thanks for your kind words BCG-I'm stoked you liked the review. Yes, true to form, Next Level Racing includes some spare M6 bolts to mount your wheel, pedals and shifter. 👍
I also have a herman miller aeron (size c) and was considering buying this stand. I’ve been looking for something that I can fit behind/under my desk but there’s limited room between my desk and the wall behind me. If you have the rig right up against your desk, how close can you get the chair to the desk? Currently using a table clamp for my fanatec DD 8nm which is less than ideal so this would be absolutely massive for me! Cheers, I’ve been loving your content since finding you
Thanks for your kind words and question inki. It's hard to say for sure, as this depends on what wheel you have attached to the CSL DD base and the position of your pedals. In terms of driving position, you'll be absolutly fine and will be able to setup a realistic field of view with your monitor. However, I doubt you'd be able to perform normal desk work with the wheel stand in place. While you can position the chair close to the desk, it won't be in a comfortable position. If you're really short on space, your best bet will be to fold up the wheel stand and store it against a wall in your room. Does that somewhat answer your question mate?
@@ADAPTNetworkey man. Thanks for the prompt reply! I’m using a mix of the BMW CSL P1 V2 and the CS F1 V2. Im used to having the pedals a little further back in real life driving and in my current setup too. If i were to mount the pedals as far back as possible, would you feel I could get them far enough back that it wouldn’t be problematic when I’m right up close to the desk? (I wouldn’t mind if its not quite the best angle as long as it doesn’t really hurt performance) I don’t have particularly long legs or anything (I’m 5 10). If i can get the wheel stand in between my desk and chair (my chair is only around 15cm/6 inches from the wall behind it), I would be happy even if its a little tight. I will probably have to fold it up every time I use it but I wouldn’t mind that as currently I have to remove the desk clamp, and my handbrake and shifter also have to be clamped to the desk which is a pain since I use my desk for work and other non racing games. Thanks again for the help 🙏
No worries @@inkiblackman2625, thanks for clarifying. Yeah, I think you'll be absolutely fine setting up the wheel stand in this way. The pedal plate has ample adjustability to suit different driving positions. 👍
I usually play ets2 and acc, rarely play ac with f1 cars but wondering if this stand can occasionally be transformed down to a formula like seating position? I am thinking between the f-gt cockpit and this 2.0 stand. I am 185cm tall and prefer comfort over full simulation.
Thanks for your question mate. While you can increase the pedal deck angle to 15°, I don't think it's enough to support a true formula driving position-especially when using an office chair. The F-GT is a good bet, though a good foldable option is the F-GT Lite ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B9w_4PwtAj4.html ). Alternatively , if you hace the budget, the F-GT Elite is a fantastic rig ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fLk8sa8Kv_k.html ). Hope that helps. 👍
If only we could slide these stands under our desks so it wouldn't hog the room. The angle of the wheel base mount looks too small to angle under a PC desk
Thanks for your comment Mathew. The height of the folded wheel stand will vary depending on how much you've chosen to extend the wheel mount. However, in my case, it's about 90cm, without a wheel attached. Hope that helps.
Hi can you confirm the height of the wheel plate at the lowest setting? you mention max 79 with 8*1.25 increments which would result in 69 cm, but i'm not sure if those are measured diagonally or straight vertical ? if you could tell me the height of the top of the plate at the lowest point, that would be great, thanks (because i plan to use a couch, which sits a bit lower than a desk chair ! )
Thanks for your question Dieterbe. To clarify, the measurements detailed in the review are measured vertically. So, the height of the wheel plate in its lowest position is 69cm. I hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your kind words Cameron-it means a lot. For sure, mounting your wheel and pedals to any rig can be a bit tricky. What wheel and pedal set do you have?
Just bought one of these bad boys, still setting it up and waiting for my Moza wheel to arrive. Surprised how heavy the fucker is, it seems extremely sturdy!
For sure mate, I would definitely recommend picking up some caster wheels if you need to regularly move the wheel stand between rooms. On a plus side, the extra weight keeps the wheel stand planted when racing hard. 🏎🏁
Anyone know which one is better between this NLR 2.0 or the GT Omega Apex wheel stand? I'm between those two, i have the GT DD PRO 8nm with Load cell kit Pedals Appreciated if anyone can help me Great video
Thanks for your question Luciano. Since filming this video, I've upgraded to the Fanatec CSL DD (with 8Nm boost kit) and ClubSport V3 pedals. I haven't tried the GT Omega Apex wheel stand, but I can vouch for the NLR Wheel Stand 2.0; it's a very robust and well designed wheel stand. Hope that helps. 👍
This review has really helped me make a decision as to whether to buy this for both my racing sims and flight sims, so many thanks for such an informative review. Also, what racing sim are you using in this video, iRacing?
@@ADAPTNetwork You may be able to help me a little more: with regard to the shifter plate and associated arm, how far would you say it comes horizontally into the middle of the setup if it were to be mounted for right-handed use but mounted on the left leg of the stand? I ask as I would use the shifter mount for my HOTAS stick and hopefully be able to mount it in such a way as to have the shifter plate more or less between my legs with my stick on top, as a joystick would be for helicopters. Hope that makes sense!
Good question @@TheOneTrueSpLiT. I don't think you'd be able to position the shifter mount in a central position, without modifications. However, you should be able to position it above your left leg. You may need to raise the height to allow enough clearance for your legs to access the rudder pedals. Hope that helps. 👍
@@justskyedriftz Yes-you can attach the shifter & handbrake mount to either side of the rig. And, console compatibility is determined by your electronics, so as long as you have a PlayStation compatible wheel, pedal and shifter, you're good to go. Hope that clarifies. 👍
Thnx for this review. You measured the height when Extended, i would like to know the height on it's lowest. I want to know if i can slide the whole thing under my desk.
Thanks for your comment Notremah-I really appreciate the support. I’ll be sure to update the links in the video description as soon as the wheel stand is in stock. Fingers crossed this won’t be too long. 🤞
Thanks for your comment Gabriel-I'm stoked you liked the review. I'm not sure when the Wheel Stand 2.0 will be back in stock, but I'll keep an eye on stock levels and update the links accordingly. Fingers crossed more stock will be arriving soon. 🤞
Thanks for your question. Personally, I didn't have any issue with chair rotation, though this somewhat depends on the chair you use. As with braking, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is a pretty robust unit, at 22kg. So, as long as you're not applying excessive break pressure, I think you should be fine-especially when locking the chair in place using the chair cradle. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your kind words Geefiasco-I'm stoked you liked the review. As I mentioned in the video, I would have liked to have been able to drop the shifter down a little lower. With my Thrustmaster TH8A, I was still able to position it in a comfortable location and replicate a reasonably realistic driving position. However, with the Fanatec ClubSport shifter 1.5, your mileage may vary. If you're going for a rally or drift setup, then it could work to your advantage, raising the shifter up closer to the wheel. I hope that helps. 👍
Warning for flight siming this is not wide enough for some flight pedals like the thrustmaster trp, etc with out taking the pedal plate completely off and putting the pedals on the floor.
Thanks for your comment c0ldc0ne. Unfortunately, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is still really hard to source in the UK. Currently, the Amazon UK store is only offering US stock at a higher price. I’m actively keeping an eye on UK stock, so as soon as a better price becomes available I will update the links. I’d recommend waiting until then if you can. Hopefully it won’t be long. 🤞
Thanks for your question YZ. I've just checked with Next Level Racing and I can confirm that the Wheel Stand 2.0 is fully compatible with the Logitech Pro DD wheel. Happy sim racing! 🏎🏁
Thanks for your question Jordan. I think it would be possible to use the Wheel Stand 2.0 with a low couch, though you may need to use a lumbar cushion to position yourself forward. Also, FYI, the height of the wheel stand in its lowest position is 69cm. I hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question Christiaan-I’m stoked you liked the review. Without the shifter assembly, the Wheel Stand 2.0 requires a storage space of about 55 x 50 x 120cm. Note that this is with a standard wheel and pedal set attached. Hope that helps. 👍
Just wondering, is it possible to unmount the gearshift golder for storage? maybe some hand turning bolts? Or do you have to unbolt more than just the platform itself
Thanks for your question Jason. The easiest thing would probably be to remove the entire shifter arm. You'd need to use a hex key, but there are only two bolts to work with, so it wouldn't take very long. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question mate. I currently run a Fanatec CSL DD, boosted to 8Nm. And, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is more than strong enough to support this with minimal flex. So, a 5.5Nm Moza R5 would be fine. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question mate. I haven't tested the Apex Wheel Stand from GT Omega. However, from looking at the schematics, it looks like the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 is a more robust design-particularly in the wheel deck area. On the other hand, the Apex Wheel Stand may be slightly lighter, which could be an advantage depending on what you're looking for. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your comment Steven. Glad you managed to fix it with a bit of DIY. If you have any futher issues, I've found that Next Level Racing is really good at sending replacement parts when needed. 👍
This thing is really solid, even with my dd setup. Just not portable with its rubber base. Which is a shame bcs i use a wheel stand so i can use my pc like normal and fold it when i dont need it
Thanks for your comment Abdul. I agree that it would have been nice if Next Level Racing included some caster wheels, as with the Wheel Stand DD. However, you can buy them separately online ( amzn.to/3ucGswX ). Hope that helps. 👍
Great review! could you please provide the dimentions of the shifter and handbrake mounts? I'm looking at buying one of these and mounting a usb handbrake and shifter from AliExpress, but I cant find detailed dimensions anywhere. Thanks!
Thanks for your comment and question Naut. Combined, the shifter and handbrake mount measures about 20 x 20cm. With a bit of cajoling, it should work for most models on the market. Hope that helps. 👍
Great question jg; the pedal plate on the Wheel Stand 2.0 is pre-drilled for pretty much everything. However, it still might be worth contacting NLR directly for confirmation. 👍
Thanks for your question SEN. Yes, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is pre-drilled to fit all Thrustmaster wheels and pedal sets. In this video, I'm actually using the Thrustmaster TX wheel and T3PA pedals. Hope that helps. 👍
Nice review I’ve been looking for a place to buy this stand with no luck. I’m at South Africa Amazon charging R5500.00 just for shipping before tax. Way more than the stand any idea where I can buy this
Thanks for your comment Phakamani-I'm stoked you liked the review. The Wheel Stand 2.0 seems to be very hard to get hold of at the moment. My best advice is to keep checking search engine shopping results, as different retailers will obtain stock at some point.
Thanks for your question Jesse and apologies for the delayed reply. You can use the pre-drilled slots in the pedal tray to hard mount your pedals. Most consumer pedal sets accept M6 bolts, but check with the instruction booklet for your specific set. Hope that helps. 👍
I love how this guy just picks it up like it has no weight to it lol, good review but man this thing is really heavy with a DD on it...you better get some castor wheels.
Haha, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is certainly not the lightest option for sure. This works in its favour, when in use, as it keeps the rig planted. I think that if you only need to move the wheel stand to the corner of your room, then you can get away with just picking it up. However, like you say, if you need to transport it between rooms or longer distances, then a set of caster wheels is a great idea. 👍
Thanks for your question Packzy. I think the Wheel Stand 2.0 is definitely strong enough for both the Fanatec DD1 and DD2. In fact, Next Level Racing has a great video showing the Wheel Stand DD running the DD2 at different force feedback settings ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bjrTMew_-h8.html ). The Wheel Stand 2.0 is very similar in design and construction to the Wheel Stand DD. The only real differnce is that the pedal plate support structure, on the Wheel Stand DD, is welded in place. While this would in theory result in the Wheel Stand DD being slightly more stable than the Wheel Stand 2.0, I don’t think that you will notice that much difference. And, I found the Wheel Stand 2.0 to be impressively stable. Note, in the Next Level Racing demo video, that there is some slight movement in the Wheel Stand DD when running the DD2 at high force feedback settings. So, I would suggest running the DD1 at around 50% for the best overall experience. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question Lesoyskr. This will largely depend on the specific desk chair you have. With my Herman Miller Aeron, it was surprisingly stable. Hope that helps. 👍
Getting my 1st setup (csl dd and csl lc Pedals) too. Considering to buy this Wheelstand cuz I need a new chair for my desk aswell. Is it much of a problem with the chair rotating while driving with this stand?
Thanks for your question Sameh. The Wheel Stand 2.0 would make an excellent first rig and pair well with the CSL DD. Plus, you can upgrade it to a full rig-using the GT Seat Add-on- down the line. Personally, I didn't have any issue with chair rotation, though this somewhat depends on the chair you use. Hope that helps. 👍
@@ADAPTNetwork thanks for your quick answer :) i totally forgot about it being upgradable in the future, which makes it even more interesting for me. but then i can order my new chair asap without any thoughts, the new chair will also have tiltable armrests, so they won't affect the positioning in any way 👍
The pedal deck looks a little flimsy - there is a long unsupported section behind the bolt, and it's just held to the chosen angle by a bolt on either side. Is there really no flex/possibility of slipping?
Thanks for your question Saint. I didn't notice any flex during my testing. I think you would be absolutly fine running 90kg load cell pedals. If you're running pedals with much higher brake forces though, then you may experience some slight flex. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question Jmab. Yes, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is fully compatible with the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro bundle ( adaptnet.work/7Ui2 ). The wheel deck is pre-drilled with the triangle pattern to fit Fanatec wheels. Of course, with the CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro, you have a lot more mounting options as you can simply align T-nuts as needed. The pedal deck is also pr-drilled to fit the CSL pedals. Hope that helps. 👍
For sure; you can easily replace the screw-in feet with Next Level Racing caster wheels ( amzn.to/48nmySx ). Though, I would recommend only replacing the front two feet for better stability. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question marco. The Wheel Stand 2.0 is a pretty robust unit, at 22kg. So, as long as you're not applying excessive break pressure, I think you should be fine. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question Dalejrfan. Do you have a carpeted or hard floor? On a carpet, you can fold the wheel stand quite slim, so that the edges of the feet dig into the carpet to keep it secure. Alternatively, you can lean the wheel stand against a wall, using a cloth between to protect both the wall and your equipment. In either case though, this may put extra strain on the feet. So, if you have the space, it may be better to open the wheel stand out slightly. Hope that helps. 👍
Nice review. I can see that the footprint is 55x65. Can you tell me how large it is in both direction including the shifter and handbrake mount? I mean, in opened state (without the gaming chair cradle). If I buy this, I probably won't fold it, but I'm limited on space. Thank you.
Thanks for your question mate. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the angle of the A-frame itself. However, you should be able to adjust the height of the wheel to match your desk height and position the wheel stand so that the pedals are underneath your desk. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question Richie. Yes, the pedal plate is pre-drilled with slots that fit most consumer pedal sets, including the Thrustmaster T-LCM pedals. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question FullCircle. At just over 20kg, the Wheel Stand 2.0 is a substantial rig and remains planted when in use. I'm currently running an 8Nm CSL DD, however, I think you'd be fine running something more powerful. You may experience some slight flex with very high force feedback settings, however, I don't think you'd really notice this when racing. Hope that helps. 👍
No worries mate-I’m really glad you liked the review. Where are you based? I just spoke to the Next Level Racing team about this and they said that the Wheel Stand 2.0 is now available in Australia. In the US, it should be available within a week. And, in the UK and EU within the next 2 weeks or so. I’ll be sure to update the video description with links as soon as the wheel stand is in stock. 👍
@@ADAPTNetworkThanks very much, I am based in the UK. Seriously, this has to be the best review of the Wheel Stand 2.0 so far, you really highlighted all the important aspects that we need to know. Also, thanks so much for checking with NLR, I keep checking the various online retailers but so far nothing. Really looking forward to getting one of these and mounting my CSL DD to it.
@@samirstephan78 Next Level Racing said that stock is on the way. So, the Wheel Stand 2.0 should be available in the UK within the next week or so mate. 🤞
Thanks for your comment TD. The pedal deck can be tilted upward by 15° (8:40), so you should have no trouble in adjusting it to suit your preferred GT driving position. You can also combine the Wheel Stand 2.0 with the GT seat add-on to create a full cockpit: www.adaptnetwork.com/gaming/sim-racing/next-level-racing-gt-seat-add-on/
@@ADAPTNetwork I need a wheel stand because it will be in my bedroom. I don't think tilting the angle would be ideal compared to if there was an option to raise the pedal platform.
Thanks for the context @@TheDoctor46vr. Personally, I found the driving position to be very natural and you can always lower your office seat to suit. Alternatively, you could consider a foldable rig like that GT Lite Pro ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JJpJ7OPT9Lw.html ). Hope that helps. 👍
@@ADAPTNetworkwith all due respect it's natural for truck simulator but not for driving a GT3. The GT Lite Pro isn't capable of the same level of NM from DD force feedback compared to a wheel stand. I think the solution might be to get a low seat, because even office chairs don't go low enough.
Thanks for your question teejay. In this video, I'm actually running the Thrustmaster T3PA pedals (8:10) and TX wheel (7:30), which has the same hard mount points as TS-XW. So, the short answer is yes haha. Hope that helps. 👍
anyone can answer me if this would hold a csl dd without problems or too much movement, i don't care at all about a little bit of movement, also i don't play drifting or rallys, just f1 and stuff like that, but i definitely don't have space for a cockpit in my room, would this stand work for me with a csl dd?
Thanks for your question Marcos. I actually run a CSL DD at the moment, with the 8Nm boost kit. The Wheel Stand 2.0 is more than stable enough to support the wheel, with very little flex. Hope that helps. 👍
Thanks for your question Peter. I would personally opt for the Wheel Stand 2.0, as it’s structurally stronger than the F-/GT Lite rigs. While you could run the Fanatec DD on either of the Lite rigs, I think you’ll lose some of the force feedback through vibrations in the frame. Hope that helps. 👍
@@ADAPTNetwork Thank you for your reply. How low can the wheel stand pro 2.0 go? I’m planning on using it with my TV, but my TV stand is only 40cm tall (TV is 55” oled). I’m worried about the stand being too tall and it obstructing vision to the TV.
No worries @@ImJustPeter. In the lowest position, the wheel deck is 69cm from the ground. However, if you remove the shifter mount arm, it can go even lower. It might be worth placing your wheel on some boxes, in front of your TV, to see if this is workable for your setup. Personally, I think you’ll be able to get away with it as your eyeline will be above your wheel, looking down at your TV, and your TV is a decent size to compensate.
I know this was posted a year ago so I am late. I need a wheel stand but i want shifters or joysticks on both sides can you purchase another joystick plate like is included with this stand? Cough Farming Simulator cough ..
Thanks for your question CK. The Wheel Stand 2.0 has the ability to support a shifter/joystick mount on both sides of the rig. However, you'd need to reach out to Next Level Racing directly to see if the team can supply you with an additional mount. Hope that helps. 👍
It is a good stand but not the best, my opinion the best stand is wheel stand pro, you need just 10 minutes to assembly the stand (90% of the stand is pre-mounted), and 20 minutes to install wheel and pedals. Watching the video next level stand is good.
