OH MY GOODNESS! I had no idea I would be changing grade levels next year! I am so excited to announce what I will be teaching next year!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR ALL THE CLASSROOM SET UP VLOGS!!!
I've taught preschool through second grade. Kinder is really hard at the beginning of the school year but it gets better as the year goes on. First grade is my fave as they are not as needy as kinder but don't have any attitude yet (most of the time).
Haha! I definitely understand that! I also feel that way with 1 graders. They come in not knowing how to write words and leave writing stories, it amazes me every time!!
I am so excited for you! I am moving to 1st next year. I have taught 2,3, and 4. So this is the lowest age I will have taught. I was very nervous at first, but now I am getting excited.
Happy last few days of school ! You are lucky! We get out of school June 18th! The kids are so done already! I was wondering what songs the 1st graders are singing for graduation?
I feel that! When I taught in NY, we didn’t get out until June 25th ish 😳 Our kiddos are doing 3 songs: Can’t Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake (we changed the lyrics to can’t stop the 2nd grade), Count on me by Bruno Mars and Shake it Off by Taylor Swift (changed the lyrics to 2nd grade as well). I believe there are videos on RU-vid of the lyric changes!
