Thank you for your encouraging word you gave me at the beginning of the year. I was moved to third grade after school started. It was rough but I made it through it. I’ll find out my new grade in a couple of weeks out 5/6 science or back to 2nd.

We have those wire shelves at are school. It came with our science curriculum. The curriculum is in small tubs that fit on each shelf.

Love your response about math. My pet peeve is when your given a new curriculum and they tell us it is research based. However tell us where the research was done . We had a reading curriculum that was for transit students. Students who moved around which was my district because of poor Economic children. It did not go well and we found out the research was done on a military base with transit children. Those are two separate worlds. The military families are invested in the education whereas my poor children did not often have the support. I wish they would listen to teachers Because what’s on paper does not always work. I wish the people who published the curriculum would ask for feedback and free of charge adjust

The thing that holds your crates is a newspaper (bulk) holder. Or at least that is what it looks like/the closest thing.

I think it is so interesting how everyone varies on their opinions of Go Math. I loved teaching it and hate what we use at my new district, Eureka 2, I taught Go Math for 5 years so that might be why I loved it. I know how to pull in hands on with it. It also prepared my students wonderfully for our state testing. I taught 5/6 :)

Looking forward to the Bible study video! I don't use typical perfume, I use essential oils in a roller bottle instead.

I remember when you mentioned in a prior video that you used the Good Morning Mercies devotional, so I purchased it and really enjoy it! This year I have tried to take back my time. It’s not easy, but my current administration makes it easier to do so. You mentioned at one point in this video that a new reading and math curriculum would be hard to do in one year. From experience last year, let me tell you it is! We received MyView Reading and Bridges Math after school had already started, and it was so hard all year to stay ahead and plan for something new times two! You sometimes have to figure it out as you go and depend on your teammates to help share the load. I’m glad you will be teaching third again next year as will I. Your enthusiasm and faith keep me encouraged. Thanks for all you do!
