In this song he picks up where he left off in Intro III At the end of intro III he says: "Cause I thought you had me in prison this whole time, but I'm the one holdin' the keys" And in Outcast he starts off with: "Woke up in the cell, where am I at? Yeah, it's cold, but I like that What am I, trapped? Heart's beating out of my chest Door's locked, but the keys are in my hands"

Someone giving you a hard time? We'll get em. Outro he picks up the keys at the end and in Green Lights the only two things in the safe were the keys and his notepad that said Perception. You're great at this. He doesn't go out and party not because he's Christian but because alchoholism and addiction runs in his family and he's more than scared to take a drink or a pill. This was supposed to be his, "I'm turning the page on my past" kind of album. Fate said, "Hold up, we're not done with you." When his single Let You Down went 3x Platinum (It's now over 5X Platinum he just went into a spiral and had a severe breakdown where he was suicidal. His wife Bridgette got him into Therapy where he found out that not only did he have depression and anxiety but he had OCD which he didn't know. He thought the racing thoughts were normal. So now he's in Therapy and life will never be even keel with him, mental health doesn't just go away you have to find ways to deal with things and since he won't take meds he's working hard on his Therapy. He's taught me that I'm a total wimp. How many of us would give up and let life beat us down if we had these things always filling his head up with I can'ts but God gave him the ability to say I can when so many of us wouldn't have. He really is an inspiration. If you want to hear that part explained better listen to Interlude at the same time you listen to Hate Myself. That's next Album but hey, it's coming. You are so great at this. I'm really enjoying your journey and you add a lot to my understanding. Thanks.

hi it’s 2024 and idk if you’ll even see this but someone made a good point once and it was that NF writes these kinds of hooks/chorus for the fans specifically to be sung/yelled at his concerts imagine “i’ll just be the outcast” being sung/yelled by everyone in the crowd at one of his concerts just the power and energy of that mixed with a giant group of people who might feel/have felt the same as NF would be a sight to see.

The meaning of the cell should be this: Fear kept Nate locked up in this cell, and Nate finally managed to defeat Fear, as he said at the end of Intro 3 "Cause I thought you had me in prison this whole time, But I'm the one holdin 'the keys " But now it is he who keeps himself locked up in the cell. He wanted to ask the question to others and to himself why he didn't use the keys to get out of the cell. He could do it but he didn't. He said this in an interview: "I'm in a constast struggle with myself where i feel like, I watch myself go through things but i don't anything about it" He believes everyone has the keys to get out of that cell (something we run into in our lives) but that sometimes we don't. However it can be seen in many different ones! However don't worry if you don't like something, be it the chorus or whatever, no problem! The fake smile was first seen in Therapy Session and you will see it again. It represents the smile that we should put on for the world and that so many people wear. I think now in his case it is that with everything he has (money, fame etc) he should be happy, and he obviously is, but when you have internal battles even that can't solve. As he said in the song: "Gettin' sick of people tellin' me to smile more" True, it's great to see Nate totally find himself and his style, and realize that there is definitely nothing wrong with being an Outcast.Once you understand and accept it, everything will be better.I'm glad Nate has never changed and I'm sure he will never change.I think this song can also be of great use to other people who feel outcasts Nate is truly an outcast in the Hip Hop industry and that's okay with him. As I've stayed to listen I would note that in my opinion NF really does touch not only those who like the hip hop genre but also those who have been through some things and relate to him on that level. I love so much that you stop and analyze everything. I've been listening to NF since the summer of 2018, so I was a little late to the game as well. He had already put out his third album and his two singles after the album (WHY and NO NAME). I had an entire year where I tried listening to other stuff but I was ONLY in the mood to listen to NF, it was some crazy shit. I've since calmed down, but nothing hits me quite like a good NF track. My point, though, is that even though I've listened to his songs more times than I would ever care to admit and have analyzed them down to the bone (or so I thought), the fact that you stop and give your own perspective has given me a new angle to look at the songs and catch things I completely missed before. Tbh you're my favorite reactor I've seen for NF, he's the kind of artist that I think is appreciated best when you take the time to really sit and listen

In my opinion you should do “ If you want love” and have to do outro on this album

Yo could you just binge these for us ? lol jk but seriously you have the best insight I’ve seen yet of what he’s talking about and what’s to come. You’re also the first I’ve seen to pick up on that he’s always had this talent, but that he’s slowly dripping it into his music. A good example would be his flow/speed. It wasn’t until his most recent album that he finally went full hyper speed, as in subtitles can’t keep up and it’s nearly impossible to understand several bars because they’re SO fast.
