@@cyrusnoble4346 i remember that from no name. Problem is, hope isnt album 4. Album #1- moments Album #2-mansion Album #3- TS Album #4-perception Album #5-search And this will be the sixth. Even if we dont count moments this is the fifth album. If we look at it from when he said that (after perception and before the search) and assumed he meant the 4th album from perception, this would be the 3rd album.

To anyone wondering if NF asked Hopsin not to cuss this is the answer. The answer to that is no. NF didn’t ask Hopsin to not cuss. He said in his live video that he (Hopsin) didn’t want to ruin NF’s legacy by cussing on his song. So he wrote the rap with no cuss words and also thought that it was actually really good and even questioned if cussing was really necessary to create a good music.
I think that the lack of cussing forces deeper lyrical meaning instead of just swearing with one word they have to describe with verbal imagery and is more descriptive. I think that this is one of the reasons nf is so lyrically profound
He isn't underrated. He has over a billion views on his videos. He literally has a song where he says "I hate when they debate if we're underrated. We are so underrated they are overlooking over our numbers." That person overlooking the number is you. He's talking about you
Heard an interview with Hopsin, the other featured artist on that track, who, unlike NF is NOT known for the profanity-free nature of his music. He was asked, given that his collaboration with NF is clean, whether NF had requested that. Hopsin answered that no, it has been his own choice out of respect, not wanting to mess with NF's legacy of clean music. He admitted that there were many times while writing his verse that he really had to force himself to find a suitable replacement for the swearing he would otherwise have included. He ends the thought by saying, "It pushed me to be a better MC because through that verse - when I finished it and when I was hearing it, I was like, did I EVER need to cuss to get my point across in any of my songs?"
It takes effort to be able to write a verse and not cuss. As a music producer myself, I have to pick and choose who I work with because I don't necessarily want to be put in the same "bubble" as said artist. I mean I am not one to compare artists, I do listen to a lot of music, but it just seems like the ones who actually rap without the F bombs get looked over a lot and their music is just as great if not better. Just my two cents.
That’s pretty cool. I have no issue with NF’s music. It’s made with the intent of not cursing. What I hate is censorship. If an artist made their track explicit, I want to hear what their original art sounded like. I don’t want censorship on the music. NF songs are purposefully “clean” so it doesn’t bother me that he doesn’t curse. It’s his original work I get to listen to

I like how NF Holds his balloons quite carefree suggesting that he is actually more used to holding them while hospin holds onto them tight because hes only realised his issues. either that he got tired of holding them lol
I heard an interview between hopsin and someone and he said NF didn't have to ask hopsin to not cuss but hopsin did it out of respect for NF's name because hopsin knows
People sometimes forget hopsin was in the Cristian scene and is 100 capable of destroying anyone on any beat without cussing.. I'm flabbergasted these guys got together ❤

@@kc-lv4gh it's not even about being mean, self promoting can get your channel taken down because it's against community guidelines. It's like saying cops were good to you because they let you pay 1/3 of a ticket, they're not like the other "mean" policemen who do their jobs.

Man, I was here when this first dropped and now revisiting it after a while and it's giving me chills down my spine listening to both NF and Hopsin's verses paired with the emotional responses from their body language as they deliver those verse complimented by the fire beat. This beat hits home for me really hard. At the peak of my panic discorder I forced myself to climb a local mountain with my dog, not on trail, just straight up through the deep snow, I was facing my fears straight on, a form of cognitive behavioral therapy if you will. I calmly did it and felt stronger afterwards.
