Exactly. It wasn’t intentional, it just happened and that’s why he pushed back cuz the coach insinuated intentional cleat stomping by coaches reaction. It was wrong place at wrong time. Sucks
@@jeffwirth6356 Yes, the coach chose to angrily shove Harrison because he mistakenly thought Harrison was trying to stomp on his player. As seen in the video, Harrison was trying to balance himself after being pushed by another player. The coach misread the situation, thus the word, “mistakenly.”
Isn't it strange how no one addressed the fact that the chiefs coach pushed the Browns player first. At the very least the coach should be ejected and fined the same as the player.
and looking closely the chiefs players esp 52 kept harris from moving off and bumped him off balance...call was correct first time and broadcasters win the awful award for mentioning neither 52 or chiefs coach
I hate that the NFL is enforcing on taunting because like half of those calls they made in this video weren’t even taunting lol. When will Roger Goodell realize that we don’t want the officials to get more involved during the games?
@@nathanshelton4487 no he shouldn't have pushed him back , he should have punched him right in the nose. That coach had absolutely no right to shove him and a broken nose might keep him from doing it again
Did you watch more than 5 seconds of the clip? They literally acknowledged it during replay before disqualification. But as they also commented on, the coach was pushing him off of stepping on a Chiefs player. He was literally stepping on a player already on the ground. Coach was more moving him off. As they also acknowledged, that shouldn't be done either, regardless. But the purposeful shove from a player is ridiculous
@@JL-ff1og if you look close he went to step over him and a chiefs player pushed him back causing him to step on him. He didn’t do it on purpose by the looks of it
@@JL-ff1og 3 minutes of ignoring everything the Chiefs did and blaming it entirely on the Browns player. And a quick mention of the coach pushing him... Yeah that doesnt seem biased at all.
I saw this game the coach pushed first as the player was trying to get his foot loose so yeah it should have been penalties on both sides and ejections
The first one the browns player was trying to move without stepping on the player then the chiefs player pushed him back on stepping the player and the coach pushed him and he push back. If the browns player got ejected the coach should've too.
Harrison clearly tripped over the KC player on the ground and was slightly shoved causing him to fall into the other KC player. Then while getting his balance back is as pushed by the coach. I get the push back
Harrison lost his balance and inadvertently stepped on the player. The coach pushed Harrison and Harrison pushed him back. The coach should have been thrown out of the game also. I mean i wouldnt be mad if he had sock his @$$.
@@leemananderson damn my man was fast with the politics lmao somebody voted trump and is still upset. Harrison tripped and even looked down to see if he stepped on someone and couldn't move cause of the KC player I'm not saying the coach is wrong for looking out for his guys but there both in the wrong for the same thing.
I like how on the first one it looks like the coach wasn't even expecting any retaliation his face looks like "damn he actually pushed me back" and hes scared lol
Honestly the NFL should do things more like a hockey game. Let these guys go until somebody hits the ground or a helmet comes off, then punish both players. First infraction you're inelligible until the next change of posession. Second strike, rest of the quarter, third strike ejection. In the fourth quarter fighting is an automatic ejection.
at the 42 second mark you saw the coach push the player first! then the player retaliated and pushed him back! Flag on both and coach gets kicked out for initiation. Emotional Control, I preach that with my youth team I coach.
I am surprised and pleased by all the comments defending Harrison. I like the Browns and live just outside Cleveland. I thought the Browns were hated by people outside Cleveland, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm glad I'm wrong.
Harrison didn't look like he was trying to step on that Chief, and he didn't punch the coach. The coach pushed him and he pushed the coach back. Both of them could have done better.
Number 25 bringing his knees up, 52's subtle bump, and then the coach's push. Everyone can hear the way the announcers called this, even with video evidence showing Harrison's step was unintentional. This is a fine example of why JURY TRIALS are never a good idea! Pathetic!
Ronnie Harrison. Poor guy got the shaft on this one. Players get tangled up. Harrison trying to get untangled, a guy from the other team bumps him off balance. Harrison stumbles a bit and accidentally steps on the guy he's trying to get untangled from. Coach from the other team shoves him, Harrison shoves back and then gets vilified. It was all just incidental stuff from a sideline play until the coach gets involved physically. Then no-one sets the record straight about the Chiefs being the instigators in what started as a dumb misunderstanding.
I would say the ref got it wrong in the first incident. At 2:27 Harrison is getting up after making the tackle and is stepping(right foot, over Chiefs player) towards the field. Chiefs #52 comes in and STOPS Harrison in his movement with a small push(Because: "get away from my teammate") That makes it IMPOSSIBLE(due to loss of balance) for Harrison to complete his step/movement and he has to get his balance back - and his foot touches the Chiefs player on the ground. Harrison even looks down to avoid stepping on player, but he is out of balance.... That is a textbook example of why NOT just come rushing to help your teammates get up. Because you prevent the players to get out of downed players way..... The refs got this wrong, though I can understand why!
He got bumped back into the other player causing his foot to fall on the ball carriers stomach. But it’s funny how the announcers/commentators purposely looked over what happened to him first. Also it was a push, not a punch man. The announcers have idiotic behavior towards Harrison let’s be honest.
Cleveland's Harrison was trying to step over Chiefs player, his foot didn't make it over the raised knee due to another Chief player purposely impeding him from getting over. He couldn't go forward any further so he got stuck in that position. Chiefs coach then pushes him from the side causing Harrison to react by pushing him on his chest. Coach got lucky he didn't get punched. Coach should've pushed his own player out of Harrison's way
With this chief's game how is it after showing it multiple times that no one in the booth saw what happened. The Cleveland player was not stepping on anyone he was trying to get disentangled and then he was assaulted by a chief's coach. Turns out that referees had it right but the broadcasters kept harping on it until the league intervened.
@5:23 I agree that Ogletree shouldn't have been taunting but Eddie Jackson should learn how to tackle before getting mad at players who actually put in work.
No one saw the chiefs player push Harrison which cause him to shift his balance thus the step, and no one saw the coach make contact with a player. Poor guy got the short end of the stick.
