What memories..I'm old enough to remember watching my three favorites as they occurred during the game; Nat Moore getting spun like a top (00:59) Earl Campbell taking Jack Tatum's best shot at the goal line and the big fella staggering for the TD (1:05) and Campbell obliterating an LA Ram defender (1:09)
I love how they put Mike Hardens brutal hit on Steve Largent and then the next hit is Largent exacting on revenge on Harden when he recovered months later.
Today's players are smarter. Those brutal hits back in the day are fun to watch but then you think about 98% of the old players with chronic CTE. So many of the 70's guys are gone.
People who don’t want to glorify the immense brain damage caused in this era. It was great to watch but it wasn’t great for when these guys stopped playing
@@TheToad075 Gladiators of the day. They knew the risk and they loved to play this way. For how much they get paid now, the NFL should have less rules than here !
