Bro if JD keeps throwing a fit that he doesn't want to play for the commanders and talking bad about Peters, would Peter's and the commanders be spiteful? We forget that Washington is going to have other routes, people seem to forget that there's other possibilities like a QB needy team aka Vikings or one of many others can trade with them and jump the raiders to #2 if they decide to spite JD or even just to be SMART because it's smart to get more picks if you know you can maneuver and STILL TAKE the QB you want in Drake Maye. They can trade with the Vikings get a couple 1st rounders + and then use the extra 1st to then trade back up to #3 with the Patriots who everyone knows will move back for more picks and in that scenario Washington can still get the same qb(maye) only they get the extra pic for moving back. Then there's the fact they can just trade out of 2nd pick and still get Penix or JJ McCarthy or they can not give a crap and still take JD and in all those scenarios JD would not end up with the raiders.
