Seems like a smart move to bring in all the guys at once. See how they interact with each other. Figure out who's the leader or the alpha and who's uncomfortable with competition. If that upsets somebody like Jayden he's not the guy you want.

Seems to me that the Commanders were playing a bit of a head game to see how players reacted to some competition and Daniels baulked. If it was by design to get to 3 for the Vikings to take him, that is up to you. Considering the supposed resistance to meeting with the Vikings anyways, it seems like he has some diva in him though.

I actually want them to take Murphy/newton at 11 Barton/powers-Jackson at 23 and trade up to 45 or so to take a qb or not take a qb at all and fix the d and oline. Zac Wilson is probably available for a 5th. If O’Connell can’t make a #1/#2 overall qb work he’s obviously not as advertised

Unfortunately Jayden isn’t 1st overall so he doesn’t have the power to pull a Elway or Eli Manning. If Washington wants Daniels over Maye they’re taking him. Even if Maye does go at #2 I doubt New England would pass on Daniels. Maybe a team like the NY Giants can make a move as well. Washington’s GM Peters said when asked about trading down "We feel great about staying at No. 2”. "I don't see a whole lot of scenarios where we trade down, to be honest with you." People have to read between the lines and not fall for smoke screens. Minnesota and Oakland can dream all they want but their reality is landing Nix, Penix, or JJ.
