I will never miss a single episode of this pod from the beginning of it. Started watching ATN back when I was about 17 I’m now 24 and feel like I’ve been through so much with yall, and now we just getting started again! Another great episode boys
Hahaha - Connor “he’s high as balls” 😂 the best banter , I know it’s been said before but it’s like having your old friends from HS and you all decide to do a podcast . Everything is organic and they rib each other so easily without missing a step . So happy they were able to find a platform to continue growing .
Hey back off Justin; dude is doing his job and doing it well. Glad the show is growing as it should. And Dan, the expression is “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.” Just think about it a second and you’ll get it.
What I like about Dan Hanzus when he used to do the Power Rankings was not the order, but that he had a colorful description for each of the 32 teams. I used to print it up and read the more colorful descriptions to my wife once a week. It would be nice if occasionally you had a few insightful sentences on each team.
Marc, the bard who dances to the beat of a different drummer, being irritated at the Gravedigger for being on a different planet was all I needed today.
A number of Jets have said that the Gilmore interception to effectively end the game was pass interference. Unfortunately it was Gilmore looking back for the ball and Williams didn’t turn around until the last second. If anything it was potentially offensive pass interference. Gilmore was the receiver on this play. I admit other pass interference calls that favoured the Vikings were more questionable.
None of my business but if you guys are getting 50K+ listeners per episode overall you're golden. I'm about to join your Patreon, n even though Myarc blocked me cred to him for taking the leap with the " New old blue eyes..?".
I still think about when Jimmy Johnson left. Odds were very good that the Cowboys would have won at least five Superbowls with Jimmy leading the boys. Jerry Jones needs to go into hospice care before the Cowboys can rise to greatness again.
It's all well and good talking about not exposing Drake Maye, but the Pats have got to find out of they've got something in Maye. They can't roll over the 2025 draft (where they'll have a top 3 pick) and miss out on a potentially franchise-changing QB only to discover that Maye ain't "the guy". They need to know NOW.
The Bengals have 12 games left and they need to finish 9 & 3 to have any chance of making the layoffs at 10 & 7. They're not quite dead yet but it's grim.
Gravedigger being hilariously bad on every single drop is a show trope that will never get old. He has the timing of a 2024 crypto investor. His drops are like the starting cannon in Goblet of Fire.
At a certain point it just wasn't your year, but I refuse to stop believing in the Bengals yet. Also: Dak may have "saved the game" with some late-game contract-exteniony throws, but he also spent three quarters actively trying to throw the game to the Steelers. If he hadn't the Cowboys wouldn't need saving in the first place. A certain seg of the Cowboys base are calling him Quack Statscott now, and other unflattering things. I'd definitely keep a suspicious eagle eye on Dak.
Dan was flippant, cavalier, loose with his power rankings... i wondered htf? Htf does the nfl let the rankings be treated yahoo, clownish. Dan has a lane for his skills (radio, indie podcasts, satirical rags). He is in a better home now than with the network or any traditional journalist position.
