@Fries 1. That's absurd. You'd have to miss more than 15 field goals a season on average across a 20-year career to break that. Unless you were kicking 100 field goals every year, such a rate of failure would get you cut before the season even ended. 2. This one was helped by that turnover differential. 3. Was the 1988 QB crop THAT bad?! 4. They should have a sign saying: "Los Angeles Trench; DO NOT TRESPASS!" 5. That 1983 {REDACTED} team holds the record for the most unbreakable records set by a team in NFL history. 6. Because the Dolphins ran the damn ball down their throats. 7. The Bears defenses of that era had impressive depth. 8. A No-Fly Zone that covered both sides of the field. 9. Meet the most unbalanced offense in NFL history. 10. Yeah, no running back will EVER get that much work again. 11. Well, the 2006 NFC got close. 12. Is this guy in the Hall of Fame? That's some absurd versatility. 13. It should be specified that Hornung was both a running back and a kicker. 14. The early 2000s were the golden age of the running back. 15. This one might stand forever if only because of the amount of competition in the elite class of quarterbacks these days. 16. Very impressive depth and great coaching from Joe Gibbs.

At 1:15 - Most Interceptions in a Season: Night Train Lane: 14 - done in a 14 game season I might add! Someone commented it might only have been a 12 game season. (I'm old, but not that old, I don't remember 12 game seasons.)

I bet that Aaron Rodgers career interception percentage will be unbreakable when he retires. It’s currently at 1.4% and gets lower every time he plays. The next closest person is Dak Prescott at 1.7%, the difference between #1 and #2 is the same difference between #2 and Alex smith at #8. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Rodgers finishes his career with less than 100 interceptions. A fun fact, there is only 2 quarterbacks that have over 200 touchdowns and less than 100 interceptions. Their names are Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is the only QB with over 300 touchdowns and less than 100 interceptions and I bet by the end of the 2020 season he’ll be the only one with 400 touchdowns and less than 100 interceptions.

Interesting that Brett Favre has most consecutive games and most interceptions. There are QB who played more games. Maybe he kept from being injured by a quick release that he should not have made , keeping him from getting hit hard

Why don’t they ever consider QBs for touchdown or point records? There have been multiple rookie qbs to have more than 20 touchdowns throwing in a season, and 8 qbs have thrown 7 tds in a game, breaking that record as well.

How about Marvin Harrison’s record which is predicted to be broken every single year, not megatrons yardage record, or a record that was barely broken, but they pick Marvin’s record every single year, and he has a full 11 catch lead on the next guy, why dont they respect Marvin?

Big Ben's consecutive wins by a rookie QB at 13....next closest is 6 in 1976! A lot of rookies have started year 1 and many in the future will also but I can't see one of them ripping off 14 straight. If they are starting then they were probably picked high in the first round, and if that's the case they most likely got drafted by a cellar team with multiple needs. No way it ever gets topped.

a lot of these "unbreakable" records are within shot of people playing/coaching right now. not to mention at least one of the records in this video (team rushing yards) has already been broke. mahomes has a a very very real shot at breaking the most MVPs, for example.

10:34 John James was Atlanta's punter between 1974 and 1976, and punted almost 300 times. He punted almost 500 tines between 74 and 78. In 3 of those 5 years, they had one of the five worst offenses in the NFL, and the 74 Falcons are the only team that might have been worse offensively than the 76 Bucs. I saw all those teams play. How is John James NOT on that list (punts per game)???
