Tuning cars and testing them on the highway is my favorite activity in this game. Very easy tuning, little to no loading screens, you don't have to grind hours for money for a car, especially if you're using Car debug customize menu so you can freeroam with customized cars that aren't in career mode

Cruising around so not to get pulled over, Cops: Wait, that's legal. Protip: As long as you don't have a high heat level, cops won't chase you as long as you are doing 64 mph or less, and aren't hitting traffic or property. They also don't care if you run red lights or stop signs. I'm also fairly sure they won't see you on the other side of the guard rail either.

On Most wanted, the cops will recognize you're street racing and driving recklessly and same as carbon, also on undercover during free roam again the cops and they'll auto chase you, if your heat level is not level 4, they would've chase you but on PS2 and Wii, they don't auto chase you in heat level 1 if cruising the whole map and racing and it would even be awesome for this.

I usually max the upgrades but keep the engine parts that change the sound of the car stock also on career u can keep ur car clean if u max out visualization on a secondary car and or truck

The collectors edition was only for PC I think. I have the PS3 version and it doesn't have any of the special cars (240sx, Koenigsegg, 911 GT3)

Believe it or not there is a ps2 collectors edition and recently I saw a 360 collectors edition. Thanks for the input I guess I will just look for a hard copy of the PC or 360 CE editions.

Regarding the special editions cars though, I wonder if EA cheaply kept them on the disk but you cannot access them without hacking. I remember in the Gamecube version there was a challenge series mission where you could drive the GT3 RS
