The Minister for Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, on Tuesday, shocked the members of the House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee investigating the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) when he alleged that the suspended MD awarded about 332 different contracts worth about N4.448 billion in one day. Senator Ngige who appeared on the second day of the investigative hearing being Chaired by Hon Miriam Onuoha further revealed that the controversial contracts were awarded just two days after he left office as Minister in 2019. The two times Minister of Labour and Employment also informed the Committee that the suspended management committed about 74 different infractions for which they were suspended.
If this is what is called Investigative hearing. Then far from it. Who did we offend in the world that has drag us into this. Nigeria is in shambles. I hope we all get a juicy piece to take of it when it becomes free for all.

What I find interesting is the less than subtle willingness by Mr Gbajabiamila to conclude that no member of the HASS was guilty as alluded by Mr Akpabio. We are not surprised, it is nothing new. So when you peopel are ready, it is either Mr Akpabio is held for perjury under oath or he vomits those names, or both. Ngige, an ordinary Ibo immigrant in Yoruba land claiming to live in a posh area of Lagos and claiming Lagos over Kogi and that he lives in poor area of Lagos. Ag.
Lagos is part of Nigeria and Ngige is Nigerian. That's all that matters, the other guy doesn't have a stronger claim to the state (by virtue of being Yoruba) than anybody else, provided they are Nigerian. You might not like it but that's what it is. That said, I disagree totally with Ngige's act of trying to put him down on grounds of age, geography, class etc. That was crass and totally uncalled for.
