I really want a glass of freshly squeezed sugarcane juice. In Vietnam, it was just $0.40, not to mention a $1 roasted pork belly Banh mi. Life is good there in Vietnam.
@@DaveEPie Many of us live in the mentality that we live in America and life will be the same for everyone everywhere, but the reality tells a very different story. The Vietnamese people in less than 30 years-from 1954 to 1980, had gone through many of the bloodiest wars of the last century against the world's great powers, including France, the US, Britain and China. No countries in the world except Vietnam had stood up fiercely fighting against the world's great powers and successfully defending its independence and freedom. The Vietnamese people are nowadays working hard step by step to rebuild their war-torn country, so we don't expect that they are making lots of money for working all day.
Very nice tour and great to see how it's developed. I was there about fifteen years ago with a Vietnamese friend and had a great time. The mudbaths in the mountains above the city are really something and a great pool to swim after you have bathed in the mud. Really like your tours.
David ơi, uống dùm cho Cô một ly nước mía nhé😋🤣. Cô went to VN for the first time back in January, and Cô got hooked with Nước Mía😋. Cô was in Nha Trang as well, Cô visited almost all the places that Con went to in this video👍🏻. Love your videos by the way❤️.
Only recently learnt about how Hinduism from india stretched all the way to vietnam. cham was once a prominent hindu place and now government of india is working alongside local government to preserve and further study. pretty cool. nice video again bro.
The Cham towers in Nha Trang are definitely worth a couple of hours. Try early morning before the heat kicks in. Great view of the river and city. Great history lesson of what once was of the Champa people- Not many of the signs are in English- Better to read up on it the night before in your hotel room on the net. Also Cham towers up and down the coast from Nha Trang- Phan Rang has Champa towers . Nha Trang is very nice for 3-4 days imo- Or 30 days in a condo- to really enjoy the area. The motorcycle ride to Dalat is so good. Waterfalls and thick forest/ jungle. Steep mountain roads to Dalat , what a ride
My wife and I were in India last Fall for a wedding. The sights and sounds of Vietnam remind me of the sights and sounds of Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur.
on monkey island the lady on the speaker says do not feed monkeys by hand and dave feeds it by hand as she is saying it lol good stuff david. thanks for taking us along. i'll be in vietnam next year hopefully you are still there around that time. enjoying the content man.
Boat ticket girl is cute but that is normal to common in the tourist areas- any clean guy with a job will have much better opportunities in VN. She is young and cute and speaks a bit of English- Get you passport bro and start living the dream!😁
Nha Trang was an American military base (Cam Ranh) during the Vietnam war and after the war it was given to the Soviets for their assistance in the war, hence the strong presence of Russians still today. Best Vietnamese beer is hands down Red Saigon (unfortunately never seen it sold in north Vietnam).
Absolutely true but many Russians who served in Cam Ranh have retired or expatriated to Nha Trang, also it has contributed to the Russian tourism influx there
Nah don’t smoke cigarettes, but I want tried out the nicotine pouches after the big zyn crazy in the US. Really enhances my focus so used them for those purposes here and there
Looks nothing like Miami though. I’m not even talking about the girls in Miami. The beach and businesses and resorts and clubs none of that looks like Miami. Go to Miami and south beach and then try comparing. Have you been to Miami
Good day mate, Jack Nguyen here from Australia Sydney. I saw once of your episode of yourself getting hair transplant in Thailand. Can you provide information regarding to contact of the place because I am looking to get done for myself?
Hey David , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
@@user-um8zs2vf3w yup fake blonde hair and fake lashes. We leave the west (US/Australia) to find natural submissive women & not these westernized women. Just spotting them out.
Russians are everywhere because they're escaping the war Incase of retaliation. So chill guys! Why wouldn't want to stay there great city, cheap fresh seafood and nice weather !
Please please please learn to pronounce the Ng correctly instead of Nh. I am sure you can pronounce Nguyễn, if so, thế apply that beginning pronunciation with the rest of the common words like, ngọt, ngồi, ngắn, ngàn, ngủ…. Learn it now esp if you’re mainly living there.
i cringe everytime you say "khoe khong" as a greetings to strangers. dont normalize small talk in vietnam, just say chao` anh/chi/em/co/chu instead. i know you just being nice but the translation of us culture of small talk to vietnamese culture doesnt work and i personally dont want it to be normalize, in vietnam people only ask about health with acquaintant that you havnt seen for a while as a small talk but asking about health as a hello to strangers is just not the norm and shouldnt be the norm, in the US you dont know whos genuine because of this.
