@SleevelessGaming - Hey Sleeves! Took your advice and grabbed all five Hutverse cards to complete the objectives for TOTY week 1! It actually only took me about five hours! Here’s how I did it! All three forwards were on the same line and both Hutverse defenders were also paired together! I hopped into Squad Battles and set the difficulty level to rookie and for 2 minutes and I purposefully chose my HutVerse lines as often as possible! If the forward and defensive lines are on at the same time.. with a couple of passes and hits..and a goal. You are well on your way to completing objectives! I did this for 15 games to complete the 75 games played requirement! After that. I kept playing in squad battles but changed the period limit to 4 minutes and if you use the Hutverse lines, both forward and defence, at the same time.. you can bang out the rest of the objectives fairly quickly! I played about three and a half hours yesterday afternoon and played an hour and a half this afternoon and all objectives are now complete and I have earned 8 TOTY collectibles! Thanks for the tips! Heiskanen has been more noticeable than mackinnon for me. Not sure why, but heiskanen on the rush or from the point is just incredible. Idk if it’s just me or anyone else noticing how shifty he is

I made MacKinnon McDavid and heiskanen. The. Pulled tradeable MacKinnon...sold and made toty Tkachuk and bought Gretzky. All in all.angrrwt event

I noticed that all of the TOTY player besides ulmark have an M name Mathew, McDavid, Mackinon, Miro, and Makar.

Built Mackinnon, Makar and heiskenen. Already had xf McDavid. Was using the 88 game day mack until now. Might blow up my team and trade in any ut msps if I can make one more and go with Tkachuk, but I'll wait until next week rewards to see if I'll be able to build one more. No intention on making any of the women cards. Haven't had Makar since the free 85 training camp one that came with the game, and never got his xf, so had to make him. He's been the most noticeable. Mack is shining now as well though, at least.

I have Modano at center with Mackinnon and Mcdavid on the wings and Modano isn’t left behind yet.

Close to getting Tkachuck which I'm stoked for to get enforcer going on my Gordie Howe. Will possibly be getting all 6 with Ullmark being last. If i can get him, if brutal, is still a synergy plug at +3 vs +2 in previous years. Which if the addition helps get a couple more wins in HUT Champs or Rivals, I consider it an investment in future pack odds and pulls.

Keep in mind that Makar can get enforcer defenseman and checking boost which gives him crazy good hitting.

I had saved up and thought I had enough for 2, maybe 3. Turns out I didn't have a full overview of my collection, so I made them all. The syngergies alone makes them worth it.

Pro Tip: If you need to stretch to make a TOTY card. You can (like me) use powerup collectables to boost old cards to 87 and trade them in. Yes it's a waste of money and powerups but you only have 4 more days to get a TOTY card. I'm gonna do it. I got 15 powerup collectibles.

Being a "barely any money spent" player, i was lucky enough to draw xf mcdavid, whom i just threw in for Toty McDavid. On top of that i got xf makar, ovechkin, marner and sorokin out of free packs. I dont think, that anyone, who plays frequently can complain about card distribution in this game. Still, after that Neca torture, im kinda fed up right now.

I pulled a tradable Miro and are only have a few collectables left to build a TOTY from scratch. I have XF Makar (who I'm not upgrading)...would you sell Miro now and roll the dice on pulling another TOTY and/or enough fodder to build another of the top 3 or just take him and be happy? Love the channel and all the content. Really got me into it this year!

Gave up my zack, HOSSA and the rest of my team to build the McDavid currently sitting with McDavid and a bunch of silver players, im not even mad it’s a crazy card

I’m pretty sure everyone would agree with me that’s there’s an algorithm in EA that pertains to those who have a great/god squad where the goalies are trash no matter their team. I have literally tried every goalie there is (except for TOTY Ullmark).. I just sold my 86 Otty after 6 games… he was literally playing every game on his knees… meanwhile I just played someone with the base Otty and he was diving everywhere and making saves where he had no business saving.. I know how to play D etc… it’s definitely worth looking into.

I made 5 of the 6 (Tkachuck is gonna be done soon) and here is my ranking after my best Champs yet (17-3) 1. Mc David: Just insane, nothing else to say really 2. Heiskanen: I loved his gold card in September, and his TOTY is just the best defender I have used. Disgusting how good he is, really. 3. Ullmark: I rocked 86 Brodeur since October, but my god, was Ullmark insane. Goalies do make a difference, and Im blown away by how good he is. Sleeves made a good point about just "wait to buy his next live card". But from a pure "impact" perspective, (not value) I cant believe the saves hes making. 4. MacKinnon: I just dont score well with him. His speed is insane, but I suck at scoring in breakaways and his shot has been disappointing. 5. Makar: I prefer a lot more bigger defenders. If he had Shutdown or Truculence, maybe my opinion would change, but defensively, he's pretty bad for a 92 card.

Matthew Tkatchuks card is unreal. He is my favourite player now. And I have Gretzky, Lemeiux, 92 Hughes, Makar toty and McDavid toty

I think the progression for these players should still be plus 1 to the last overall but should increase the TOTY card +1 regardless once they receive a new card.

I counted up all my players and would only be able to create about 10 collectibles should i try and grind to get more players or sell all my players to get some sort of win this week? Currently have 35k coins

i decided to throw defensive boost on mcdavid and two way forward on both him and mackinnon, as well as defensive boost on miro and it got my miro to max defensive stats with enforcer d man and speed boost 98 speed AND 96 faceoff mcdavid. just food for thought if anyone had both mcdaddy and nate dogg and wanted to give them a try together on a line !!

Bruins fan here and live Linus and everything but couldn’t agree more 🤷🏼‍♂️. Goalies don’t matter at all look how long an 82 Ovr. Was viable. Anyways love the vids I laughed so hard when you said “ there’s no way we are playing this all the way to September” 😂 I think I cried a little

My TOTY McDavid hasn't lit it up for me like my X-Factor McDavid was, not sure why he feels so much different with the same synergies and abilities activated.

Hey, are the TOTY feminine team usually the same amount of collectibles to make?

Grabbed McDavid and Heisk at the full 40. Heiskanen unreal. Made Gretz with my 74-79s. Fun 2 days. 21 cards left outside of roster players. Thank god i hate this hut verse event and dont want them.

I’m really curious if they only allowed you 7 days to make these cards in years past ? I’m almost positive you were able to make these cards whenever there was no time limit maybe I’m crazy or because every other set your able to even after the event has completely ended !!!

I only had enough collection to make McDavid. I also have Makar Xfactor but not enough power ups or cards to get his toty. So I basically sold everything I didn't need after that.

If you can only make one who do you make Mcdavid or Mackinnon?

Spent every coin and cleared my collection did all objective and took mackinnon and makar would’ve took mcdavid but my team name is give em cale so there was only one choice now and only started playing a few weeks before Christmas now I’m gonna funnel all coins and players into making team builders

In previous years did they only give you 7 days to make the cards ? I never seen ea take away make msp cards

Div 3. Ulmark has won me at least 4 games by himself. This card is nasty

I’m F2P with a god squad and after lucking out with a xfactor pack getting McDavid 3 days before TOTY, I have Mac and Connor- and enough fodder remaining for 90 more collectables (I didn’t make any master sets that weren’t free or close to it) with the 2 team builder LDs I’m not sure I want Miro? Realistically I’m done with this game in the next month? Max and I’m not making a goalie- I could wait until later in the week for another xfactor reroll (pulled 2 from the player packs for trading 87s in for collectables) just not sure if I should even bother making a 3rd because it denies lineup flexibility

If you had Mcdavid, MacKinnon and Makar who would you make Tkachuk or Heiskanen?? I’m really stuck. I have Icon Lemieux, Icon Gretzky, Modano, TOTY Mackinnon, TOTY Mcdavid, Hutverse Weber in my top 6, I also have Fantasy Tevo, Fantasy Zacha, X factor Suzuki (Suzuki is not going anywhere he’s my favourite player), Necas, Shanahan, Eichle and Jack Hughes in my bottom 6… I have Hedman, TOTY Makar, Hutverse Thompson, Aucoin, Regehr and the 89 Jones on my Back end… Who would you make Tkachuk or Heiskanen please help 🙏🏻 this is my first time really playing HUT Seriously…

Only thing that stopped me from making tkachuk is his discipline, but i think ill keep him for season ends when itll have move up. But i love a big guy for deflection, Beagle was my guy last year, im hoping Tkachuk could do it this year. Quick question, i could make 2 toty defensemen, should i wait for the womens ?

SHOULD I make MacKinnon and Miro? OR. Should I make one of them, make McDavid discounted and bank on the fact that Hilary gets a toty and make her discounted next week?

I managed to do all five field players toty cards and now I have 600,000 coins and a few 87 and 86 players in my collection, so would it be worth it for me to buy players from the market with that 600,000 coins so I can do Ulmark and if not, what do I do with the 600,000 coins?

I have Tkachuk x factor at 86 overall. I have never spent any power ups this year. should I fully upgrade him then make his team of the year or is it worth it?

First time I hear you say that 99 set is a choice pack and just not a 99 mackar. If that’s the case it’s a good thing.

If you have gordie howe, I think tkachuk is a must to get enforcer forward (+2 speed) activated

I made Makar Miro Mack bc I pulled 91 MCD and my player stash of 1100 gold players were toast I hope I made the right decision

I made 2 toty , which are Makar and Mcdavid , I ran out of resources but as I looked through my team I have enough 88-90 overalls to make 1 more. So should I just get rid of my entire lineup for 1 more or just keep the 2 ?

Makar for me has felt slow, slower than has xfactor even. At 99 speed it just feels bad not sure if that is just me

MacKinnon is broken. He is way faster than mcdavid and his snipe coming down the left wing top right shelf is ridiculous. Imo he should be #1 because he doesn't have an Xfactor and is harder to build, him and McDavid both have 99 speed but he just feels faster

I was able to make all. Ulmark is very underwhelming even with 12 AP on him. Put Luongo back as Starter..Ulmark as a synergy catalogue.

Mackinnon feels lacking

I agree with not making Ullmark but for the life of me I can’t follow your logic on “his next card being 93.” This is true of all the TOTYs. Their value comes from their auto upgrade to 99 over time right. Like why is it only Ullmark you’re focusing on for the “his next card can be obtained for a fraction of the value” argument? That’s true for all of them.

What happens if you cant make any? Probably GG and the time of the year where every credit cards teams get all of them and destroy you until you cant play no more like every other NHL

Makar is not that special compared to his XF.. I had it and made his toty.. and heiskanen, mack.

Ullmark has only allowed 2 goals in my last dozen games combined, he's unbelievably good.
