I’ve skated my entire life. At this point, I don’t know if it’s more embarrassing to get your ankles broke by a move, or just falling for no reason. I do both weekly
@@Jmulvez trust me I lose my voice almost every game watching this guy. Circles around the net 2-3 times, sharp turns, break ankles, never shoots or loses it. The occasional highlight reel goal never disappoints tho
@@Jmulvez its probably because hes right around ppg or just slightly above it most of the time. While he has good stats I dont think his stats are elite worthy like a mcdavid etc.
3:20 DMac's just hits different the more you see it. He travelled all the way to Sweden and back just to work on his handles, and the outcome was literally this. It's especially shocking because he had never scored a game winner before, considering he didn't really score often. It was also the playoffs, so it was an extremely valuable goal, and it was major support for the Wings to win the cup in 1997. Also, for it's time, it was a HUGE deal that was ahead of it's time, and even though it's a common deke now, in the 90's-00's, that required the some of the BEST skills in the league.
2:31 - As a hometown team, I feel really spoiled growing up watching the Sedin twins. This kind of play was not uncommon or rare, this was dam near every night, both players won the Hart trophy two different seasons and they ran the show when they were both on the ice and focused. Only twins could be at that level of communication without conversing.
Ngl him and Sorokin and a few others were hard carries these past few seasons. I hope that the Isles sign some good guys (either that or bring some of the promising prospects up to the NHL from the AHL) to possibly skate on his line and develop some good stuff.
Hockey ankle breakers are hilarious because sometimes it's legitimately a fancy move by the player with the puck and other times it's just someone falling for no reason.
