It's just a fun video, don't take it too seriously. If you do, and it angers you, then you clearly have some personal issues. Additionally, when this video was made this channel was incredibly small(less than 5k subs), and we never thought that it would get this many views. We were just doing it for fun. Also, yes we know it's the Shark head at the top. When you're filming a video there are a thousand things running through your head thinking about what you're going to say and keep the conversation flowing, so yes we had a bit of a mental lapse during the SAP portion of this video. Please forgive us, we are not perfect.

A friend of mine helped build Rogers Place in Edmonton years ago (he is an ironworker) , About a week ago he brought me there to watch my first ever live NHL game (Oilers Vs Boston) since I was in Edmonton visiting. I was totally blown away by the arena and the things it had in store for the fans. I even walked away with a signed puck and goosebumps... So, I totally see why you picked it as your number one arena. It was one of the most extraordinary events in my life watching the game there. Thanks for all the great stuff you share on your channel ! ! !

btw, the 'big object' in the left corner of the picture of SAP center is the massive shark head that gets lowered every game and players skate out of!

Actually in the xcell energy center the best sight lines are in the top seats that you claim are the worst. And the lower bowl is smaller then it looks and you can see the ice perfectly from almost the concessions stands because it is wide open. And t was voted the best designed for sight lines in the country. Just thought you should let people know what is right

The united center's seats are steep. When the Hawks score a goal and everyone is jumping around, I can see the ice fine and I'm a tiny guy.

San Jose, top 5 best playoff arena. Very, very, very loud tightly packed and just a blast

I've been to games at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas where I live, and tickets are getting more and more expensive and so we have been sitting way up in the top deck, we have been directly in front of the scoreboard up there and it is perfect and doesn't block anything and is perfect for videos over intermissions. One of the games I went to was round 3 game 4 against he Jets and it was electric. They also have smoke and lights and really cool shows, it is a great place to watch hockey because it is so much more.

At 6:07 the "Weird Object is the Shark that drops down to the ice, and the Sharks team skates through during pre-game. I think it's a tricky thing, because I understand how this rating works, but one of the difficult things is to rate based off of the atmosphere. The fans, the noise, the energy is a major factor

Canes baby! Never heard anything as loud as our buffalo game on the way to the cup. We broke a record for loudest arena that day, if i recall it was rebroken a little later in same playoffs as well. Very awesome experience i will remember forever. Its weird screaming as loud as you can and not being able to tell if youre making a noise at all.

Great video! I loved the cheerleader part :P Although I've never seen or met a passionate Carolina fan. They always seem to be the one team that disappoints me with their fanbase. However I totally agree with the banner idea in Columbus! They also have this in Nashville as well as Minnesota. And as much as I don't want to spoil it for you, that's not what the seating looks like in Rogers Place. :( They put a t-shirt over every seat for the first couple days for that effect, but unfortunately it's not permanent, as much as I wish it was. I'm still very happy it was ranked #1 for both exterior and interior! Again, another really well done video. I love being able to see the pictures in the back and you guys at the same time. It's fun to hear other people's perspective, especially two wise, passionate hockey fans like you! I'm so glad to see this channel growing at the rate it is :)

We enjoy watching games at the PNC Arena, Carolina Hurricanes, and their is not a bad seat in the House. My favorite seats the ends about 7 rows back. Hope you all can see a game here someday.

Rogers Arena in Vancouver the concourse is incredibly cramped and small...during intermission its near impossible to get anywhere. They're also doing renovations (the Aquilinies) here attaching condos to the stadium lmao. It's pretty cheap there and I work dt so might move there in the near future. But Im getting away from the point. The concourse at Rogers Arena is puny!!

Nice observation about the lighting on seeing a televised game in some places. San Jose has a problem with the lighting on television too. All of their home playoff games look like I'm watching a televised high school game.

The Oilers logo on the seats was all flags on the opening night of Rogers place... similar to how the seats are "white" with white t-shirts on the seats. The seats are all black in Rogers Place. That being said, I have been in 15+ arenas across the league and Rogers Place is by far the nicest arena I have ever watched a game in

Rogers Place doesn't actually have orange/blue/white seats with the Oilers logo. Those were temporary (either covers or a tee shirt giveaway) for when it opened. The seats are dark gray, just like every other new arena.

How is the saddle dome not worse

Correction, The TD Gardens seats are NOT all gold. In the upper level yes, all gold. But in the lower level the seats alternate black and gold. Also on either end of the lower bowl the top 5 rows are green, which they have seat side serving.

There are other things to take notice of when ranking these stadiums however. 1) Accessibility, how easy is it to get to the Arena? Plenty of parking space? Nearby to the city centre? (MSG is located in the heart of Manhattan for example, which is a great thing, and thus deserve a slightly higher ranking imo) 2) The amount of vendors and toilets inside. I think we all can agree that lines suck and you dont wanna waste 15 min to get a bloody bag of popcorn or get to the restroom in time. 3) Prizes. Some teams charge more than others, but that should also affect the ranking system. I honestly don't wanna pay $150 for an average seat during a mid-season game.

I live in San Jose and have been a long time sharks fan. In my opinion the SAP center is great! The seats gradually increase in steepness and it gives the arena a coluseum effect. At ice level the noise is deafening especially during the playoffs and at the very top you can still see the ice and the puck clearly. There is really not a bad seat in the house. I have sat on the glass and in the very cheapest seat plus everyhwere in between and can confidently say that if you ever attend a game in San Jose you will not be dissapointed with your view.

I’ve been to the United Center many times and it’s not flat at all. I’ve sat at the top of the arena and in the 10th row and all the seats are pretty steep.

Just FYI, that's the old scoreboard at Nationwide (Columbus). I love the newer one. Much better

The Florida Panthers originally played in Miami Arena in Miami and I think this pic is from when the new facility originally started. I remember that Jumbotron. But now it’s much better and bigger and better lighting, I like it. I’m a huge Florida Panthers fan so that’s how I know

The sight lines at Xcel is awesome high seats are better both sound and sight than below the middle level

The best seat in the xcel is the middle seats either just below the suite , the suite , or just obove the suite and the suite is the 1st few rows obove the bowl

I was at a game at the American Airlines Center last Sunday against the Canucks. I sat in the 320 section and I could see everything. The sitting there was pretty steep too. It's a good venue for hockey!

The Panthers shared Miami arena with the Heat when they first came into the league. Their new Arena opened in I believe the late 90s. They now have a separate Arena from the Heat

i live in columbus and i got to a lot of games. i’ve never sat that close to the canon but it is VERY loud even from all the way across the arena

I go to Oil Kings (WHL) games and I do really love Rogers Place, and wherever I sit I can always see the Ice pretty nicely

I live in Calgary and the Saddle dome is the worst stadium for acoustics, many musicians refuse to come to Calgary because of that. The press level section is also terrible where you are just watching tv screens, idk why its ranked 3rd but i still love it.

you should do a video on the Quebec and KC new arenas and the old Hartford Civic Center or whatever it's now called as well as Atlanta's Philips arena....

The honda center upper bowl is super steep

I watched the Ice Vegas tournament at the T-Mobile Arena, and it was a terrible in-house experience. The concourse has very few options for fans to visit for refreshments. Lower bowl seating feels rickety as a good chunk of it is highschool gym style pull out seating. But to each there own I suppose.

Hey, I'm from Calgary. I disagree about the Saddledome (Scotia Centre). The cheapest seats are really bad. They are in the third deck on the long sides of the rink. The problem is that due to the shape of the roof (shaped like a saddle) a person sitting in these seats cannot see across the arena to the other side. The roof curves downwards and obscures the view if looking horizontally outwards. It sucks. You end up looking at the underside of the roof half the time. Having said that, I am adamantly opposed to the new stadium. We are in the middle of a recession that we probably won't ever come out of. (The environmentalists are hell bent on taking Canada out of the oil and gas industry, and forfeiting trillions of dollars in revenue to Saudi Arabia, Russian and the USA. The bizzare thing is that many Canadians agree with this lunacy. Anyhow, I digress.) So now is not the time to be handing the owners of the Flames millions to build a new stadium. It's just part of Nenshi's legacy plans is all. Anyhow he'll be out of office in the next civic election for sure.

I love the Scotiabank Arena (old ACC), it's not MLG, but the views and atmosphere are fantastic! Stanley Cup banners, retired numbers and a great sense of old history despite the fact that the Leafs left the Gardens over twenty years ago. The best parts, are outside the rink though!!! The concourse is great with great food options, restaurants, bars, the Alumni box where you can meet famous ex-players, awesome choice of souvenirs. Outside there is Maple Leaf Square, and RS Sports, RS Sports Bar which is possibly the best sports bar in North America and RS Sports where you can find any jersey you can think of. Last but not least, you're connected to PATH, the underground of Toronto, the Subway, and the Go Train, the concourse runs right into Union Station!!! You can watch the blue lights go up the CN Tower from the Ice Lounge, and watch the resurgent Leafs play some great hockey!!!

I am a die hard Flyers fan and have recently moved to FL and have been couple of the Flyers games vs. the Panthers in the BB&C Center and even though we sat up in the 300s we had amazing seats but come on the Wells Fargo Center could have been higher. GO FLYERS!

You really should have focused on the atmosphere. I have been to 16 arenas across the league. Atmosphere really makes a difference. United Centre has an amazing atmosphere. Calgary sea of Red and the Yellow background in Nashville are amazing.

Xcel energy center, I agree that the lower bowl is a little to flat, Jumbotron doesn’t get in the way from the highest level from my experience at games. My opinion Club level has best view point.

Seats are black in the oilers arena...that was just a promotional stunt having the oilers logo on the ice. None the less its still a great arena. Even the worst seat has a great view on the ice. Lots of corporate loges and the place his just awsome really

im a NYR season ticket holder. ( Blue Seats )Before I had my tickets It for sure was the worst arena to watch a game live on TV. To me the camera is way too far away from any other arena. Im an old school guy....they rebuilt MSG and they out priced me and they got rid of rhe Blue Seats . They had the balls to tell fans that they are keeping the blue seats. ha ha lol. They only made one corner of the arena behind the net and made them blue seats. What a disgrace. So Typical of Dolan and the clowns who are in charge of this arena. I love the NYR with alll of my soul, but I will never ever pay a cent for season tickets anynore. They out priced fans like myself. its a damn shame
