As Jonesy said, it was Showtime tonight. Kane was dialed in...focused, relentless. The confidence the Rangers have right now is undeniable. They look cool, calm and collected while the Devils look confused and dejected. This was the Rangers team we envisioned when we acquired Kane and Tarasenko. We are hitting our stride at the perfect time. This could be one hell of a run. Fingers crossed...☝️
I remember NYR fans saying that Kaner wasn't going to make much of an impact. Having been a Chicago fan all my life, I knew Kaner would dial it up to 11 in the playoffs. I'm rooting for the Rangers (as I did in 94 as well).
As a lifelong Blackhawk fan, I am on the Kane gets his fourth cup Zamboni wagon . You will find Kane can make time stand still somehow. How lucky were we to have Kane Dunk and JT for all those cups.
Oh hell yeah with Patrick Kane and Vladimir Tarasenko, Zibanejad, motto, Trocheck, Kreider, kokko, Panarin, fox this team is fcking stacked, our we the only ones that see it, this Ranger team is insane 🤙
Blackhawks fan here, as sad as we are to see Kane play for another team; we are happy to see him be successful and contribute to the Ranger's success. A part of me even hopes they win it all.
That was a beautiful end-to-end goal; he created the turn-over and then generated the strength to put it in the net with a great back hand. Chytil has done it once in a while but this is pure Kane. I think if they can keep him until he’s done he’ll be valuable and happy.
Let’s go Rangers! What a great 👍 WiN again! To repeat such a solid effort says a lot about the quality of this team! If they continue like that, they really have a good chance to win it all! 🥳🥳
As a Canes fan, the Rangers are scary good. Every aspect of their game seems pretty solid. I definitely believe they could beat the Bruins and then likely, the Oilers to win the cup this season. A Scary good hockey machine. The wounded Canes would be the underdog in a possible second round matchup. Scary good.
Yah I definitely think the Canes will be the underdogs if the Rangers continue this dominance but it would be a tough series for the Rangers definitely not counting them out but I do see the Rangers in 5 or 6 and then in 6 to Tampa and then 5-6 for Oilers or anyone in the west
Рейнджерс с победой! Молодцы 💪Великолепная игра! Не огонь а пламя 🔥Дьяволы вновь не вывезли коляску) Безумно рад за земляка Влади! Кейн тоже сыграл здорово! Всем мира и добра!
Amen. Tarasenko is a asset to any and every team he is on. It is believed that he will not be back with the Rangers next season because of the financial limits imposed by the league. This makes me sad. We Ranger fans have been blessed with so many great Russian players. ✌🏼peace be with you.
I have t admit as a Ranger fan, I didn’t see this coming. I knew we had some success against them in the reg season but to be this dominant on their home ice is almost unbelievable. So as the 2 sayings go: “Don’t let your foot off the gas and take NO prisoners”
The talk after Game 1 was that the Devils needed to get a good start to get the crowd into it and make some adjustments, and everything would be different. It was different. They got the early PP goal, though it wasn't exactly how you'd draw it up, and the crowd was into it. However, it seemed as though it was the Rangers who made some adjustments. In Game 1, the Devils created some decent chances off the rush and in the offensive zone. It took 23 blocked shots and Shesterkin being very sharp to hold them scoreless until the PS. In this one, The Rangers just smothered them. The Devils hardly had anything you'd call a Grade A chance to score.
I was kinda hoping the Devils would go deep after a great regular season, but it really looks like they're not ready yet. The Rangers are better in every way right now.
Look for the devil's there's no shame in losing to this rangers team there a team who almost made it to the Stanley Cup final last season and definitely have ambitions of going all the way this season devil's not quite ready yet but it will be a good learning experience
Take it from a Rangers fan, the series is far from over and you guys have a great young core. The young guns are getting their feet wet in playoff hockey and even if their run is short lived it'll still help the team moving forward.
@@Ease1x I'm not a Devils fan, but I really enjoyed how they played during the regular season. Right now they look like the young boys they are and they lack the experience.
@@Mulukkis Ah ok, but yeah my point still stands. This is more of an indroduction for the young guys, if they can get a good feel for the playoffs then that's a win for them no matter how far they go
Getting physical is what is getting us into trouble, we had the same amount of hits as them in this game and two less in the last game and thus we have given the Rangers 7 p+p in one game and 4 in the other, during the regular season the most we gave them was 3 and in most games it was 2, on average we were between 15 to 20 hits but always out hit, but now we are matching them with 30 plus hits, we need to tone down the physicality, that is what is aidding them, the Rangers want to stop us from skating up and down and to get themselves lots of power play opportunities and that is what getting physical gives them.
Tarasenko to score the second game will be dragged by important goals. The main star in this game is Patrick Kane, it seems that he has found himself in this team.
i like how this is like a Home game for the Rangers hahaha, so this entire game 7 series Rangers have a Home game because I doubt just as many Devils fans will come to MGS
If the rangers continue to play like this and improve each game, can’t no team touch them, sorry to say it. This team is firing on all cylinders right now
Such is the advantage of playing for the Rangers, Devils, or Islanders. You get four road games every season that don’t require travel or a hotel room. Actually six if you count Philly. It used to be even easier back when the Hurricanes played in Hartford.
