As someone who barely even noticed their existence until this year, I think it's cool that new teams make it. For the last 20-25 years it's been pretty much the same 6 or 7 teams stomping each year, but this year was certainly a shake-up! lol...'member the Bruins? 😆
Not a fan of either team but congrats Stars on advancing, and Kraken have nothing to be ashamed of. They took the stars to game 7 and played their asses off to the last second. They'll be back next year.
The Stars' first Game 7 home win since the 2000 Western Conference Finals as they advance to the Conference Final for the first time since 2020. You now have an all-Sun Belt Final Four in the NHL.
Thank you for the superb sophomore season, Seattle. It certainly was a sweet surprise seeing the Kraken win their first ever playoff series against the defending champs. You've earned a salute from me and every other Seattle sports fan.
I was at this game and it was a very entertaining, fast played game! The refs let them play. There were long stretches with no whistle. There was no dirty crap. Just good old fashioned game 7 hockey. Congrats to the Krakken and their fans. It could have gone either way. That being said, the story lines for this Dallas team are quite intriguing. Great young goalie and Dman, dominant top line and veterans who have paid their dues. Their time is now. I hope they can pull it off for Pavs, Glenny, Soots, Benner, Faksa, and Esa! These vets are not getting any younger!
Not sure who this commentator is but he was great. I loved his enthusiasm, it added to the atmosphere of an already intense game. This game was so good to watch as a neutral. Dallas is so fun to watch and Seattle had such a great run. Fell in love with both fanbases during this series honestly
That Hintz goal reminds me so much of Mike Modano’s transformation from offence to defence during their late 90’s run? It’s amazing how effective it is, fine tuning a scoring machine into a defensive aware player?
LETS GO STARSSSSS. But much respect to Seattle, hard fought and great second season. Hope my stars can keep chugging. But props to Seattle for their season
Hell yes! #GOSTARSGO!! I'm so happy my Stars move on to the WCF, and good game Kraken and Kraken fans! You have absolutely NOTHING to hold your head low about. Seattle is a heck of a team and will continue to get better I believe. I was honestly on edge because it felt like at any moment Seattle could break out and score a bunch. That was the most stressful last 30 seconds of a game I've felt in a while! Regardless of what other people think, I got nothin' but love for Seattle fans.
Dallas fan here but hats off to the Kraken. I almost had a feeling that they could take this game with their momentum. It was close... I like the Seattle team as well and can't wait for their next season. I just hope they don't face Dallas before conference finals or something in the next playoffs.
@@velipulla3936 о, ещё один эксперт по нацистам? Меня не возьмут у сожалению. Но если ваша гомосяцкая НАТО сюда полезет достану топор свой и нож...тогда бойтесь недобитки...
Dallas Stars played their hearts out. Seattle took them seven games. I think these two teams are going to be around for some time to come. The old balance of power is shifting in the NHL.
For a game that was 2-0 with under 20 seconds left, that game was INCREDIBLY close until the final seconds ticked off! Eberle had the game on his stick there on that final chance and just couldn't corral it. Full credit to Seattle they battled so hard and went all out there!
Yep, as a Stars fan it was such a nail biting finale??? I honestly thought he was going to score with 6 seconds left!!! Such a great series if you’re a hockey fan.
If there were any expectations for Seattle at all this year, they blew them out of the water. What a fantastic 2nd season, so much for the team and their fans to be proud of and excited for going forward.
Such a great series, as a Seattle fan. It was as tight a game as you could ask for, and at this level all it takes is one mistake to go a goal down. Hintz and Johnston’s goals were both filthy. Easy to root for Dallas to take it all ✌🏼
Wyatt Earp Johnston was such a great draft pick by Jim Nill. I can’t believe how he was drafted so low(23rd) even though he had all the tangibles, especially maturity and poise??? Some of the best hands in the league also!!! Happy belated 20th birthday kid!
Мне показалось один Грубауэр хотел выйти в полуфинал или нервы сдали у Сиэтла в такой игре такой накал не выдержали. А так очень даже хороший сезон показал Сиэтл. В следующем сезоне эту команду нельзя недооценивать
Seattle showed well in their first NHL playoff appearance. Their scouting department now has the job to try and counteract their relatively poor drafting position by picking wisely.
What can you say about this series? Phenomenal! Both teams put it all on the line. Great goal tending tonight. Could have been a lot bigger difference if not for Grubauer. Of the 4 teams left who has the most octane left?
To me, when the Kraken tied it at 2-2 in the Avalanche series, they were already winning. They are my team because they play beautiful hockey. Open, imaginative and refreshing style. As many said, they will return next year. I wouldn't change anything to this this team.
Great series to watch from a neutral fan, both teams had a good showing and Seattle has a bright future. Good puck to Pavs, Domi, Seguin, Heiskanen, Benn and the rest of the Dallas boys in the WCF.
@@19hundoc47 No one predicted Seattle would even make the playoffs at the start of the year. They made it. No one predicted Seattle to beat Colorado, the defending champions. The Kraken beat them (first expansion team to beat a defending champ in their first year, too).
@@otakumusprime7745 so they proved everyone wrong by beating a depleated Avs team with no captain and a second round playoff exit. I mean, congrats lol. The lowly maple leafs completed the same feat lol
@@19hundoc47 The Leafs got eliminated in five with quite large amounts of talent. The Kraken were quite close to winning a series no-one expected them to make it to.
4 exciting teams left amongst the stars ,golden knights, panthers, and hurricanes ,yet i would love to see joe pavelski after around 20 years or so finally win his first stanley cup with the dallas stars !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yikes. last 10 seconds, anyone notice Eberle slam hit stick? watch the shot. he was mad it wasn't a shot pass to him while he was wide open with a pretty good deflection or shooting spot with 7 seconds to go. obviously a guess, but looking at the replay, I can see how that was a huge miss and instead just a clean point shot with goalie having full view of the shot for an easy save.
Grubauer was impressive! If Dallas keep their defense in check and won't allow such blowout games with J.Robertson starting to score they will beat Vegas.
jamie benn made a sublime play here at the end. eberle was in the right spot for the back door slap pass but benn step us and over to get in the lane so all the kraken d-man can do is put it on net and hope for a reboud. ottinger calmly steered the floater into the corner and eberle slams his stick down. it was there. that being said --- i quickly came to despise the kraken and they are now firmly entrenched as my #2 least fave team behind the bruins. my gosh -- gourde is really good.
