Nylanders OT move and goal was amazing! Can't believe he still got hated on early this season by some fans (at least in the YT comments), his contract is a steal as opposed to what some made it come across as after he signed it.
@@Oldmanflyfishing the problem with Willy, when he’s trying to “get lost”and find open ice (like Auston is a master of) he looks like he’s just floating around…..(and yes he has had times where he dog’d it on the back check as well) but he is emerging as a superstar and unfortunately I doubt the leafs will be able to afford his next contract, because he’s going to command a raise (I’d say 9 mill at least) and some team will gladly pay it

I'm old old school and from Detroit I have watched thousands of leaf and wings games the commentators for this game are absolutely the best in the biz. So professional so on top of the play. I wish other commentators would somehow take notice of this approach to commentating. Because I love to focus on the play and not small talk or personal knowledge ie (what the commentator wants to talk about) I'm ashamed I don't know the names of these commentators but I love and you admire your work.
been watching the Leafs since Johney Bower was in net and this is by far the best team i've ever seen on the ice.. Just got to get it done come playooff time.. Got to see them win it in 67 and i hope they win one for all the fans that have been waiting since..
Right here. Are you dumb? Nobody hated Nylander. What we said was "He wasn't worth 7 million bucks" and at the time he WASN'T! He has been worth it, but you NEVER give a contract to someone that MIGHT be good one day. So, I ask you one more time...ARE YOU DUMB???

Amazing effort by the refs tonight. They did everything they could to get St. Louis that win. It just wasn't meant to be. Keep your heads guys. Maybe you'll get them next time.

Oof, that Kerfoot goal, Binnington didn’t even try to make the save. Looks like he clearly saw Kerfoot and decided he couldn’t be bothered to actually do his job. And another oof for the Blues on the Tavares goal, standing around like a bunch of pylons, and not just one or two guys, no no, at least Four Blues doing their best pylon impression. Like, I’m a Vancouver fan, I’m very familiar with bad defence, players acting like pylons, and inconsistent (or just not good at all) goaltending, so I’m not saying any of this with some sort of weird smugness or whatever.
Leaf's need to do a better job holding onto leads in regulation. You can't blow 3-1 and 4-3 leads. I think Sammy could have done better on a few of the Blues goals, but the Leafs team defense was a bit soft in the game.
What is parayko doing on the leafs 4th goal. Dude is just standing there doing nothing. He did the same against Vegas and both times the blues got scored on back door. The biggest pylon on the ice
When Willy moves his feet and gets down and dirty hes effective but if he returns to his slumpish scared to touch the puck ways its going to be a problem for the buds later on

Leafs have to find a solution that doesn't involve playing Giordano 18-22 minutes per night. Gio gifted Toronto, GIFTED, them 2 seasons to play for peanuts. Shows how broken their defence is.

@@dankhorsegaming1448 the laughs already made history for 55 years no cup, no final appearance. 18 years no series win, since 2004, the laughs were 0-15 in final & deciding games. thats a lot of made history already
