rewatching it I can see that almost every goal is Gardiners fault

Congrats Beantown! I thought after 2014-2015 it would take the Bruins a while to reach the playoffs and here they are with a great roster

Anderson was the reason it went to game 7 and he was also the reason they lost in game 7. He along with the defence blew it.

Congratulations Boston well deserved win from the get go. Thank you Andersen for teasing us by bringing it 2 game 7 only to let in those 2 stinkers when we needed you the most. Called it before series began simply cause we're just a good reg season team facing a tough, well rounded skilled and experienced Bruins team. If anyone gets an extension hitting double digits this summer when Pastrnak n Marchand make 6.5 or less don't expect a cup within the next 3-5 years as our media seems certain about.

It was the 2013 playoff game 7 match up all over again and it was sweeeeeeeeet. Go Bruins Go! The Bruins may have missed out on Connor or Barzal but Debrusk has shown he deserved to stay.

This one hurts as much as any playoff loss in the last like 10 years. The leafs usually don’t show up in game 7s and can’t score a goal but this game they actually showed up and we’re about to get multiple leads. Just our luck that we got the maybe the worst goaltending performance ever and couldn’t hold the lead

I can’t handle game 7’s between Boston and Toronto anymore lol almost shaved my beard before the comeback a few years ago

If you analyze each individual goal, Gardiner played his man pretty well. The Debrusk 2nd goal, he had to turn that way for sure, if he turns left he can't beat him in a footrace. He should have had the stick in front of the net, but that's the only play he messed up. The other two goals were Marner's fault (he didn't cover his man). The other goal was an amazing slap pass where Plekanec lost Bergeron and scored. Freddy should have had 2 of the goals against there. I don't really get how you call yourself a fan then say insanely rude things about Gardiner. Just analyze the plays...

The modern playoff format is bogus for teams like the Leafs. They had a good year and had to face a tough opponant on their ice in the first round, instead of a 6th seed. They fought them to a game 7 3rd period clincher. Nice job. As for the Bruins...if they had this much trouble with the Leafs, then they are in tough against Tampa or even worse, possibly the raging Pens who are playoff beasts.

RIP Toronto, you're sacrifice was necessary to keep the perfect bracket alive!
