@@MBF120 Yes, but you must not be aware of how rare it is for a team up by that much to drop out. By American thanksgiving, on average about 13/16 teams in the playoff picture end in the playoffs. Plus as much as the Leafs are chokers, they are a good team and will without a doubt make the playoffs.
@@dnl4ever666 bad luck for Campbell. Reaves rippin point blank shots for his first goals of the season. The Lindgren shot gets deflected. Defense goes MIA on Fox. As a Rangers fan, Leafs add their equivalent of Reaves and Goodrow; veteran leaders to maintain confidence and poise, this team is as good as any. Campbell has been better than nearly every other contending team’s goalies.
@@Surfer041 Lol where do I start. They blew a 4-1 lead to Boston in game 7. They blew multiple multi goal leads in the series with montreal. They blew a 5-1 lead against Ottawa. Matthews debut game where he scored 4 goals, they blew a multi goal lead and lost. This is there 4th maybe 5th consecutive multi goal collapse following a 4-1, 3-1, 3-1, 4-2 multi goal collapse. I pray your not a leafs fan, it’s so painful for us as fans right now.
@@Surfer041 They are historically bad chokers. Most importantly, watch Leafs/Avalanche from this year, as well as the playoff series vs Montreal in 2021 and Leafs vs Boston in 2013, game 7
Good game, the Rangers have a nice balance of skill and physicality. Unfortunately the defensemen that we dressed tonight were all skill with no physicality and were bullied by their bottom 6. It would have been more effective to dress Rubins than Biega to help out a little bit with that but, it is what it is. Looks to me like the Leafs are more concerned with chasing records and putting up points than winning games, but in the Regular season it’s not a big deal I just hope when it comes playoff time we have enough sense to park the bus when we have a multi goal lead. Nevertheless we go agane at the USB on Saturday!
The curse of the 3-1 leads..and man, Campbell just wasn't feeling it tonight.. but they can't be solid all year long. Always gonna be those games a few times a year.
get him some defensemen that know what they're doing and his numbers would be so much better.... it's a shame that he's stuck in the position he's in because he's a great goalie with defensemen that aren't giving it their all.
Campbell played great. He had no help. Terrible defensive lapses all night. And you can't blame it on holl-muzzin being out because those two have been playing awful in my opinion.
@@imakepeoplemadalot7176 well being a bandwagon fan is a lot worse it shows weakness and that you can’t handle losing its sports. But I don’t support Dubas at all he needs to go but I’m leafs fan for life as a die hard fan
@@yffast1582 turnover in front on the first. Back door goal on the Power Play. Off the knee of a guy in front. Igor is unbelievable! Russian goalies are the best in the world!
How does one manage to blow a 2 goal lead 4 games in a row. I didn’t care after the first one, considering it was against the avalanche, but this is getting ridiculous
@@dewman7477 all of their cups came 80% of the teams who play now were even in the league. They have the longest championship drought in North American pro-sports, you can’t tell me that isn’t the biggest joke out there, especially with the kind of money they draw in.
@@grover9873 I mean yes they still count though and Detroit lions are probably worse than leafs they have not won Super Bowl since 1957 leafs haven’t won cup since 1967. So in pro sports leafs aren’t the worst franchise maybe in hockey since they currently have longest drought. As a franchise they still have 2nd most cups and they don’t have longest drought in pro sports as of now
A lot of those goals by Toronto were Rangers turning the puck over. Can’t expect to win like that. Glad to see the Rangers stayed focused and turned up there forecheck.
they are much more physical this year than they have been in the past. honestly the last good tough guy i remember from them is either avery or tanner glass and that was a good while ago. they really started choking after they had no offense, physicality, and started getting cute with their plays and over passing.
@@abcdefghijklmnopqrstuv3333 Renney and Torts had physical teams. Stanley Cup team had an edge with Keenan. Isles and Flyers were also starting crap so I would say Rangers had to have a response available at all times.
Lmao, bet u weren't saying that last year though, or the year before that, or the year before that, or the year before that, or the year before that. Ur goalie just loves playing in Toronto for some reason lol
@@thegamersparadise they were in New York for this one. Igor has been a stud all year against many teams. And yes, I think it’s standard to say that most fans don’t like their team when they suck, but for a true fan, the love never leaves.
The problem is that Campbell is not making those saves he was when they had the lead in previous games. I think he's tired and not used to playing so much. It's affecting the players forward's having to get back to play defense not confident in Campbell and it's tiring them to early. They have nothing left in the third period.
Подскажите, пожалуйста, где найти ковид протокол? Где его смотрите? Я не могу найти актуальный лист протокола. На каком сайте можно найти эту информацию?
Rangers showing true grit yet again. 2 goals against in the opening 3 minutes, 3 goals against in the 1st-but they just get to work. Other teams might collapse with a start like that. #LetsGoRangers
It's just crazy how the Leafs just give up lead after lead, game after game. They're in need of a few convincing wins if they want to convince the rest of the world that they can compete with Vegas, Colorado, Washington, Florida and Carolina, to name a few, in a playoff series.
Maybe Toronto and Buffalo should exchange teams as I'm sure people in Buffalo would welcome the Leafs. Having the Leafs play for Buffalo would be an instant upgrade for them and people in Buffalo can finally see a playoff game which is something the Sabres are unable to do.
Campbell is clearly the reason leafs are in the playoffs the defense is so inconsistent in front of him. Otherwise without Campbell they have way worse record
Yup Leafs are right where they should be, blowing more leads than ever before and subjecting us to frustrating hockey. No way this team is passing the 1st round against the state of Florida.
Oh boy, where do I begin? First Rangers goal: 0 defensive awareness or structure by Toronto. 0. 5 Leaf players should NEVER be running into a corner of the ice in the defensive end yet that's EXACTLY what they were doing. 100% puck watching and pursuing Second Rangers goal: I'll give the Leafs player credit, he understood Reaves was the threat and seemed as though he predicted the threat better than most Leaf players seem to do but he wasn't able to tie up the stick and the shot made its way through Campbell somehow Third Rangers goal: What the heck was that Tavares? SKATING EVER HEAR OF IT? You knew that Fox was the threat yet you did NOTHING to stop him aside from waving your stick around in an unless fashion. Fourth Rangers goal: Two words puck watching. Not a single Leaf was thinking about where the threat was, they were holding their sticks out to try and block a pass and not a single one of them even considered thinking about where the other Rangers players were. Fifth Rangers goal: They lose a draw, then 3 of them decide to hang out together and surprise surprise look at the puck. No one was thinking about where all the other Ranger players were and as a result, they leave someone WIDE OPEN IN FRONT OF THEIR NET Sixth goal: Lose a faceoff in the offensive zone with the next empty. Honestly, it's like the Leafs couldn't care at all about playing responsible defensively.
Where on earth is the defence?? Can anyone please tell me? The whole team is hugely lacking in the defence department. I agree with the comment about an early exit from the the playoffs AGAIN
I’m sorry but after going back thru the past season preparing for the coming heart ache again...our goaltending after the first week of December just went off a cliff
Leafs played horrid defense. They need to make a trade. You can't blame this on tavares/marner/nylander/matthews/campbell. Leafs defense made a turnover or left a player wide open on almost every goal against. Campbell and Vejmelka can arm wrestle for the Vesina because both of them get absolutely no help some nights.
This team can’t hold a lead for the life of them Lmfao. Can’t wait to see Mathews retire not only having never won a cup, but also never playing a single career game in the second round.
