As much as I love a player coming to the aid of his teammate, there’s nothing like a clean open ice hit that everyone in the arena sees and everyone involved gets up from and plays on. Fighting is important to the game, but I love the hits that are so clean that nobody can get mad about it.

I know the game was different then, but that should have been called at least a minor for roughing.
