The first car .. running 12s but 2 parachutes and full exhaust... pro mod car 299 mph. Top Fuel cars reving at the starting line... pretty much all I needed to see... maybe in another 15 years some other company might take a shot at a drag racing game

Awesome concept but a severe lack of customization. If you’re gonna make a drag racing game you need to let us build our own promod/pro street muscle cars. Like an old challenger or charger.

The NHRA game from ps2 was so better. The new game doesn’t even remotely compare to how good that games was. There was amazing customization and tuning. Definitely disappointed how nhra handles the license. The gaming studio who produced it isn’t known for amazing games.

There hasn't been a good Drag Race game since the 90's with Bethesda's Hot Rod Championship drag racing. You could import YOUR actual engine specs and tweak real world data from Dyno 2000 into the game and use YOUR real car dynamics in the game. I had my game car duplicating my real drag car and I could try parts on my game car before sinking money into my real car. Racing the AI was incredible and online was a blast. I begged Bethesda to upgrade the graphics to keep up with the graphic advancements and the loss of 3dfx Voo Doo cards as there was zero problems with the game itself. What we got was the IHRA Motorsports game that looked more cartoonie than the first game and they NEVER fixed the bugs.

This game would be great if they actually made something exactly like this with all cars in the world to choose and build from make it like a reality best believe most petrol heads or gear heads would love the game if we was able to choose and customize any car from the world and building it like life make it a dream for us who cant afford it in reality

I've been waiting for a decent drag racing experience. Unfortunately, from what have seen this option completely missed the mark. There is no wheel support and the car physics are lacking.

I remember I was addicted a hole day to a drag racing game on mobile. It was 3D. It was fun to click exact time to start. And the loud sound and speed! I learned about the timer. It had 3 different values. My first time playing a dragracing game.

This is a great example of “go back and do it again”…

Do another one when you’re more experienced, that way you can show us what it’s really like. And it’s obvious that you didn’t hit the parachute in any of your runs.

I am the physics programmer for that game. And you know what input/requirements we got? None. I'm French/Dutch. I don't have a driver's license because bikes exist. NHRA is so American, it makes zero sense to us. But we do what we can. I talked with NHRA in person. What are your Pacejka parameters? Can't tell. If you want a redneck game, just don't ask a European studio to develop it, ok... We can't invent Drag Racing. We can't drive. We shouldn't have been hired for that.

To be honest anyone who loves drag racing can honestly see this is some hot garbage they should have let someone other than gamemill make it everyone see how they fugged up the street outlaws games I would still play countdown to the championship and drag racing 2 on ps2 to be honest 🤦🏿‍♂️

Man people LOVE to complain… this looks great, the play is just fine, the detail is good.. it would be a flop if they made you run on road courses, but this accurate enough. Want to wait another 15 years? Enjoy the wait! Dont forget, patches galore will be coming out soon enough

This game is an embarrassment to the Nhra, ps2 graphics are better no customization at all really, not even all the tracks are on there, you don’t get a season mode like in real time, I haven’t seen a car I went against go over 300 mph in funny car or dragster, looks like an iPhone game, the controls are touchy asf. That’s just some of the things they need to work on

Been sim racing and real racing for more than twenty years. More than 2000 hours a year on just one racing game. Racing is life for me. I'd have to take a hard pass on this one. It's like the people that built the game never even worked on any car, much less raced one of any class. It's embarrassingly bad. I'd be pissed if I shelled out fifty bucks for this game. I wouldn't even pay twenty bucks for it.

If they would have made the street outlaws game this detailed and simulation like they probably would have made millions. The street outlaws guys don’t even play that game. They play no limit drag racing g on their phones. If this had Ryan Martin and kye Kelly I’d buy it today. Just not too into nhra but ina huge street outlaws fan. I might have to try this game anywys. It looks like exactly what I always wished they would have made the street outlaws games. They should find a way to make a street outlaws NPK version of this game. I’d buy it in a heartbeat and I’m pretty sure many more would as well. Not at all knocking nhra, I get it, that’s the big dance, but from a business standpoint but I’m willing to bet more eyes have watched street outlaws than have ever watched an NHRA race.

No cars other than Top Fuel Dragsters and Top Fuel Funny Cars go over 280 mph. Your Pro Modified car is doing 299. The record for a Pro Mod car is 261 mph. This game is screwed up already.

Hey bud I got a question for ya about NHRA game. I’ve tried looking some things up about my problem but can’t seem to find anything to help. I see your a RU-vidr and I was wondering if you could possibly help me out with something. I’m currently in pro mod on my career and I can’t do a burnout car just stops after I press the gas and I can’t do anything after that. Is that a game issues or a setup issues? Or am I just doing something wrong?

The worst thing about this game is the ai, they are literally 1 second slower than you, you never lose unless you crash it gets boring very fast, I don’t know how they overlooked such a simple concept of making the opponent a fair match

Got this on the Switch - I'm not too big of a fan of the throttle being like an on/off switch with no pressure sensitivity. Can anyone tell me whether the PS4 version allows for pressure sensitivity? For example, when i do a burnout, I want to be at 1/4 or 1/2 throttle, not full throttle or NO throttle... Also, is the split screen available on PS4? i may just get it on the system and keep the switch version for when i travel.

How is this game even released? I just went and bought and I should have taken a little time to research it. NO wheel, pedals, and or shifter support?????? Come on...mannnnnnn.

I know your biased on the review / gameplay on this because Gamemill sponsored it but i bought it and played it 2 times put it away and never touched it again . This is a $19.99 game at best . Car sounds are horrible for one they don’t really match the car .For example Pro Stocks don’t sound like that going down the 1/4 , the graphics are something out of the early 2000s meaning the crowd surrounding area is real primitive . The cars are not licensed so we have weird looking cars some Mustang rear and a Charger front lol , cannot really modify the cars like shocks , clutch timing engagement, tire size , engine timing , gearing ,fueling , supercharger pulley size so the realism or science to these cars isnt really there . No starter on the line , Brian Lohnes says just a handful of things and very generic. You don’t need to hit the throttle to stage a funny or fuel car , they don’t rev . I hate to bash it but there are so many things this game needs help on , did Gamemill even consult a real driver from each of these classes when they developed this? Fix these issues and you would have a solid game but that of course would mean revamping the entire game and starting new .. Nhra isn’t that cheap to let a game like this be released .. It’s 2022 come on DO BETTER

Truthfully for a new $50-$80 game the graphics aren't the greatest. I feel like you were really giving the game a stunning review because they sponsored you and that's how you get future promotions. I mean heck something simple as glass on buildings aren't even reflective, no actual car brands, parachutes are oversized and useless and you can't drive into the sand trap if you wanted, sketchy engine sounds, blurry vegetation, poor 3D NPC models, cheap particle physics, etc I could list more but this comment is long enough as it is. Might be a fun game to pass an hour or two if it goes on sale for a decent price, but it's still shovelware.

Now I have got to say when it comes to the graphics is very detailed this is I appreciate them game Mill for this game but it is it does not represent NHRA well the cars do not crash every run which if you get the funny car on this game you will see that for no reason any reason at all the car just crash you ain't done nothing or if you touch the steering wheel the car crashes blows up tears up everything that's not how drag racing runs most of the runs in drag racing today are uneventful game meal doesn't represent that
